Expensive, poor quality

Used maybe 6x over the 1st year I've owned it, pulled it out to help warm my daughters room and it squeals like mad as soon as you turn it on.
After a few discussions with repair techs, advised its most likely the left and right motors which need replacement, surprise surprise the parts can NOT be bought anywhere, the only option is to ship for service and pay more for shipping than it's worth.
Shame on Delonghi for making such a poor quality product and not making parts readily available.

Toasty Bedroom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very much anticipating the arrival of this heater, as in my region, it got cold very fast! My home has a split floor plan, with the master bedroom being on the bottom floor. It’s cold, it’s tiled, and on top of it all; we have oil heat! Yikes! Super expensive. The slim style heater was delivered without any issues. It was packaged very nicely, and the instructions were very clear. I decided not to walk mount it, so that it’s more portable in case I decide to use it in a different room on occasion. The feet are sturdy, and the style is very sleek. It fits in very nicely with my decor, and I don’t think anyone would take notice of it; which is the point! The first night I used it, I actually woke up sweating a bit, because I had it set to 73°. Second night I knocked it down a few degrees, and it was perfect. I have a pretty large room, and the temperature is extremely comfortable with this heater running. I can’t hear a thing while it’s running, and the panel isn’t lit so bright that it’s bothersome. Overall, I think it’s a perfect fit for what I needed it for, and I am hopeful that it will help to keep my heating oil costs down throughout the winter!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The design is great, super quiet and having the fan option is great when you want to heat up a room quickly. Bought two of these and two oil-filled radiators for basement and these are by far all around better to work with.

Amazing heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never heard of De'Longhi brand before this but let me tell you...it is now a favorite of mine. The slim 1500w heater is just what I needed in my old farmhouse. While I have had numerous windows replaced, the ones in ny bedroom are still the original wi.dows and it gets chilly here in Michigan. Since I unpacked this gem of a heater, I have been nothing but umpressed. First of all, it is very slim and can fit just about anywhere. Second, although I opted to use the feet for the floor option, I was amazed at the simple wall mount kit. The functions are located on the side and were very simple to understand. All in all this is the best heater I have ever owned. It also has a timer and an auto off design for if it gets tipped over which is awesone when you have kids and pets. So happy with this heater as my bedroom us now the coziest in the house. Definitely will tell all my friends how wobderful this heater is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lasted less than one full season

I got this heater in February 2021 and used it for the tail end of winter. There was a problem where it would periodically overheat, especially with the fans on, which makes having a thermostat and timer pointless. It's unobstructed, in the open on its feet with nothing around or above it and plenty of space for the vents below, and I've kept it dust-free.
Fastforward to today, where it overheats within a minute of turning on the fans, every time. Currently I am the proud owner of a very expensive, decorative aluminum rectangle.
Even better, if I'm reading it correctly, there's only a 1-year warranty on them. You win, Delonghi, for selling something that just barely outlives the warranty. Suffice to say, if I can't fix it and if I do have to replace it, it'll be with something else.

terrible product, don't waste your money

I suffered through this thing last winter. About to throw in it the garbage this year.. Finger controls are unresponsive. Can barely heat a few feet away. The worst is the HT error that turns it off anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes of operation. Even though nothing cause it to overheat. Also the leg plastic with screws that will not stay in. Piece of junk just like the DeLonghi AC I bought. Quality. and engineering has nose dived for DeLonghi.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek design and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the sleek design of the heater. It's also a great space saver as well since you're able to mount it on the wall. The heater is very quiet even when set at high temp. If change to fan mode then it's a tad loud but if just leave at 3rd mode then it's extremely quiet. I also liked that it doesn't get burning hot if touched so it's safe to have around kids and pets. The heater does heat up quick. The downfall to this heater is it doesn't really get that warm, and if put in an open space you can't really feel anything unless stand next to it. I put this in my living room and the room doesn't get warm at all because there's no door to keep it enclosed. When I tried to put in the bedroom that's around 200 sqft with door closed and set at 80 it'll get warm but not 80 degree warm. Overall, the design is nice but functioning as a heater it doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent heater.

I have this in a tuck-under garage in a townhouse mounted on the wall. I love it, it works so well. I was thinking of a gas heater, but thought I would try this first and it works awesome.
