This model has a metal heat shroud over the fins which pops loudly similar to a cork popping out of a bottle or a tin can expanding/contracting during heat cycles. I have 2 other Delonghi radiator heaters without shrouds and they are silent except for the thermostat clicking. This model appears to produce more heat through the top of the shroud but at the cost of peace and quiet. The popping noise is so consistent and annoying that it diminishes the value of this heater which cost twice that of my other heaters.

It seems like a great idea but it only puts out a gentle flow of heat that rises up from the top, and after two hours in my small office it didn't make the area noticeably warmer. Set to 80 degrees, max heating setting. I would have returned it but the postage costs makes it not feasible.

I just love this radiant heater. It is quiet and easy to use. The heat is released on the top. I keep it in my family room; since heat rises, it even warms my bedroom above - 10 STARS!
Works as anticipated. I use it in my basement, to supplement radiator heat in the above 2 stories, basement gets pretty cold down to low 50s. Live in Pittsburgh so doesn't get too cold here. But this helps to warm the lower area, a little small for the space. I have been using a ~5' extension cord with it and has been fine so far, plug connections get warm--about the same temperature as a phone charger. I have left it plugged in for 8+ hours, checking periodically to make sure everything is safe. Eventually will install a plug closer to where it is used. Been using normal 120volt 15 amp circuit and it doesn't trip the breaker. Did smell a little at the beginning, like a new stove, but haven't noticed the last few times I've used it. Maybe smelled for first few days running probably 5-8 hours each day. Happy to use an electric source of heat given my electricity is renewably supplied.
I have an older model of this heater and it’s still going strong after 10+ years. I love the features on this new one such as the thermostat and auto off feature. It is quiet and energy efficient. Well designed with handles on both side and nice roller wheels. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design.
This product does not put out much heat. I’m trying to warm a garage which is 10x12 with 9 ft ceilings. The indicator lights, which show the temp setting on the heater, started flickering after a week of use. I’m not sure if this is a sign the product is malfunctioning. I’m probably going to return this product and try something else.
