Silent, but has some cons
on October 17, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest pro for this heater is that it is 100% silent. When I first turned it on I kept checking it to make sure it was actually working because it makes no noise at all. Once it gets going and heats up the room, it keeps everything warm. The other things I like are the easy set up, the auto on/off timer, anti-freeze setting, simple controls, and wheels. Set up only involves unfolding the wheels. The wheels are nice so you can move the unit around and it gives it stability, making it unlikely to tip. The controls are simple and intuitive with the low/med/high and temperature buttons being the ones I used most. It can also be set up to turn on and/or off at certain times. That is nice to get the room warm about an hour before waking up. Something I have never seen before is the anti-freeze setting. I think I will be keeping this heater in the garage and using this setting. If the room temperature goes below 41 degrees then the unit automatically turns on to heat the room to keep it from freezing. As for the cons, the cord comes out of the front of the unit so I have to loop it back behind, so part of the cord length gets wasted. As I said before this does heat a room really well once it gets going, but it is slow to start so some patience is needed or know to turn it on before you get too cold. The biggest con is the directions state there should be 3 feet of free space all the way around the unit and after using it I have to agree. Once heated up the unit is extremely hot and cannot even be casually touched except on the front control panel. I feel like I need a baby gate around it to be safe so no one accidentally bumps into it, especially kids or pets, and to make sure no objects get too close to it that could create a fire hazard. I do have this on carpet, so that has not been an issue. I don’t feel comfortable using this around kids, pets, or too many people. I think this would be fine for childless adults in an uncluttered room. I love that it is silent, but cons are a deal-breaker for me.

Full room heater
on December 18, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for about a month now and getting my honest opinions on it from me and my family. I put this heater in my garage because it gets cold from being outside, so it's nice to have a heater to warm up. This heater is very nice and amazing quality. After reading the manual and setting the heater up, it took a few minutes to fully heat up, but once it does heat up it feels great, and I have the heater set up by a wall in the garage and it circulates throughout my family garage which has an upstairs to it too. Also my favorite thing about this heater is that its eco friendly, can be set to turn on at certain times, and my favorite thing, it has wheels so you can move it easily with no problems.

powerful radiant heat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice radiator heater! It can definitely heat up a room! Upon opening the box, make sure to blow out any left over Styrofoam if any is stuck to the heater or in the cracks. The instructions say to turn it on and let it run for 4 hours on high for first use to burn off any chemical smells there may be. It isn't a strong smell but I did smell a lite hint of something.
The wheels are easy to fold out and they make the heater very easily mobile as far as the plug will allow. You can very easily unplug it and slide it into another room with barely any effort at all.
The face has 7 buttons.
1. The obvious, on/off button. Self explanatory
2. The lightbulb. Now, why would a heater have a lightbulb?? It doesn't, the face is a digital display and if you tap the lightbulb button it will dim the screen. There are 3 different settings so if you are trying to sleep and need a very dark room, you can. Honestly though, it isn't that bright but it is a nice option to have.
3. the power level. Self explanatory but again, it has 3 levels. A nice feature.
4. The Timer! I did read all of the instructions and I am glad that I did. If you want the heater to turn on in 1,2,3 or 4 hours, you need to press this button and then hit the plus and minus button until you reach your desired amount of time and then leave it! Do not press power. You will see a little clock display on the screen and now, you have set the heater to perhaps turn on in the middle of the night so you aren't freezing when you wake up. Great option! Now, if you want the heater to turn off in an hour or 4, you just need to do the exact same but after you have turned the heater on.
5. the minus option. This is a control for the temperature and the timer.
6. The plus sign. This is also a control for the temperature and the timer.
7. The ECO button. If you press this button, the heater will run at the best amount of power to reach your desired temperature to save power. I cant really say if this is useful or not. I am the type that want full heat when I have a heater going.
It does look like a radiator however, it is a nice looking heater and it looks nice in any room. It does feel hot to the touch when in use however it is not going to blister your skin if you accidentally touch it or a child or pet goes near it. I have both in my home so that is very important to me. when
Our home is over 2000 sq ft and when I am using the heater on the main floor, you can 100% feel the difference at the top of the stairs on the second level.
It will be wonderful this winter in our basement which is finished but it does have a constant chill down there.
OH!!!!! One last thing that needs to be noted!!! It has an antifreeze mode! This is my favorite feature as it could potentially be life saving. If the room falls below a certain temperature, it will automatically turn on to prevent freezing. I have to look more into this but it is an awesome feature if that is the case!
I do like this heater a lot! I give it 5 stars and I do recommend this item.

Nice-looking convenient heater
on October 23, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a convenient, just the right size, nice looking DeLonghi 1500-watt electric heater. The heater has a easy wheel system and a cord holder. I used it in my bedroom, it lets out a good amount of heat and kept my room nice and warm. It has a digital display with large numbers, and a 24-hour programmable setting. There's a timer function and also has a function for the unit to turn on when it gets below specific temperature. I really like this unit and I would recommend this heater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This DeLonghi electric heater is great. I am very impressed on how well it heats a room. Its has a digital thermostat which, once the room reachs the desired temp shuts off. The wheels make it so easy to move around and the heater can fit almost anywhere. I would highly reccomend this heater to help anyone make it through those cold days!
