This machine is AMAZING!

This machine is incredible! I love it! I already have a regular Keurig brewer, but I was still making my weekly Starbucks runs for my favorite espresso drinks. Not anymore! I can make Americanos and flavored lattes at home, and they taste delicious. I've only had this machine a week, but have been using it daily and it works great. I was debating between the Starbucks Verismo and the Rivo, and I'm so glad I bought this one instead because you can use fresh milk or soy milk of your choosing where the Starbucks machine uses gross powdered milk pods. I have read some negative reviews in regards to 'flavors' that are available for this brewer... well it's an ESPRESSO machine, not a coffee maker, so it's like trying to compare apples and oranges. They don't make 'flavored' espresso, that's what the flavored syrups are for. I understand it's frustrating if you want to be able to brew regular coffee, but that's why I have 2 Keurig machines now. Overall, this is a fantastic espresso machine and I highly recommend it.

The best coffee related purchase I have ever made. So simple to use and the results are wonderful. Goodbye five dollar lattes! This will pay for itself in under a year for me. Too bad it doesn't come with a travel case so I could bring it to work with me.☺️

Wonderful expresso!

Makes perfect expresso, lattes, cappuccino, at the touch of a button. I like all four Lavazza pods for this machine. Even the decaf is outstanding. If you want a home expresso machine, this one more than matches any coffee store brew at a fraction of the cost. One warning: regular coffee will seem to be flavorless after you start with the Rivo.

I've had this product for about a year and use it daily -- often more than once. The ONLY negative I can make of it is that it takes two Rivo packs to make the coffee sufficiently strong for drinks using milk -- still the cheapest cappuccinos and lattes around. For straight-up espressos or lungos, one pack is just fine. I alternate between espressos and a chocolate cappucino which tastes and looks wonderful. Anyone can easily make a satisying espresso or cappucino with the Rivo. My machine continues to work flawlessly though it has never been de-scaled. However, I use only water from a ZeroWater pitcher -- one that removes all dissolved solids from tap water. Having been burned by other espresso makers that fail to work after just a few months (or weeks!) of use, I am delighted by the Rivo's ability to keep on working. Go for it. You likely won't be disappointed. Taste is, of course, personal. I favor the Intenso and, for later in the night, the decaffinated pods. There are only four varieties available and, for me, the two cited are quite sufficient. (I went through 18 varieties of a competitor on another machine and they ALL tasted the same -- bitter). And, unlike the majore competitor's machines, the Rivo provides hot, not luke-warm, coffee.

The Rivo makes the perfect cup each time with no loss of strength or aroma. It is the perfect machine for anyone from coffee professionals to the average joe. Just a push of a button and a perfect cup to share with anyone or keep for yourself.
