I love it but...

Takes about 2 mins to heat up in the beginning but once it heats you can make as many as u want! My frother overflows so that needs to be watched but is also ver fast. Overall I Love It! I only wish there were more brand options or a do it yourself pod! I prefer a good Cuban espresso blend
Pros: Smooth Taste, Very Fast After It Heats
Cons: Frother Overflows

My boyfriend purchased the Rivo for me as a Christmas gift and haven't used anything since! Waking up is challenging for me, so to wake up to this fabulous machine and quickly have a hot, incredible tasting latte with ease has transformed my mornings...not to mention a money and time saver...bye bye drive-thru coffee shops :)
Pros: Pleasing Aroma, Smooth Taste, Balanced Acidity

Very nice!

Very nice machine, we really enjoy using it! Had it a couple of months now and has turned out to be a real treat on cold winter nights or after a special dinner. My only hesitation is the plastic cup that is used for the foaming process. It has scratched and stained already, even though it has never gone into the dishwasher. I worry about ingesting plastic, and with rapid wear and tear evident, this cup should be glass. If a glass cup replacement were made available, I would immediately purchase it...
Pros: Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Roast, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Plastic Frothing Cup

Best Espresso & Cappuccino around!!!

I don't drink brewed coffee but making a cappuccino in the mornings takes too long with a traditional machine. This is perfect! Quick and easy, I have been looking for something like this that is affordable and I found it. It also uses the espresso I drank and became spoiled with in Itlay, no coffee shop here can compare to the espresso I had over there!! This is the real deal!! I use frothed milk to make home made hot cocoa for my son, works great and so easy he can do it! It cleans up easy too. I have only had it a few days and finding more uses for it and haven't found any cons yet!
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Balanced Acidity, Not Bitter, Pleasing Roast, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma

Great when it works, Saves me money

I received this product for free to try out. The first machine I received hardly worked. I would have to go through the whole process 2-3 times every time I wanted to brew a cup. The process is put the espresso pack in, click the brew button, machine beeps at me, I lift up the brew handle which drops the espresso pack into the pack bin (where used packs go), then I take out the pack bin, find my espresso pack, and put it back into the brew handle (remember: the pack has gone unused because it didn't brew and I don't want it to go to waste). I noticed that when the espresso packs are not getting punctured on the bottom, then the machine won't brew. The tops of the espresso packs are getting punctured. I thought that maybe I am not closing the brew handle down all the way so I am making sure that the brew handle is pushed all the way down and I push it firmly. It has not made a difference. I still have to go through the whole process 2-3 times each time I am making espresso. I've called Keurig and they sent me a new one. The new machine will have the same issue once every 3 or 4 brews, which is much better but still not quite the Keurig quality I expected. But, when the Rivo works, the espresso is great. The machine is simple to use with easy to understand buttons. I enjoy having fresh hot espresso, with froth and steamed milk. I think my favorite part of this machines is the froth and steamed milk. I was never able to manually froth my milk successfully with a different brand espresso machine. This Keurig Rivo excels in it. Fill the pitcher with milk, push a button, and watch it go. Simple! I've had no problems with the frother. I definitely drink more lattes and cappuccinos because of the frother... my waistline probably doesn't like it. There are on going monetary costs and environmental costs -- I would like to see refillable packs so I can fill with my own espresso grounds for different tastes, saving money, and preventing more plastic from being produced. "All those little plastic cups add up to some massive trash. Ten and a half loops around the equator, in fact, according to Mother Jones." And that's just the plastic cup packs sold in 2013.
Pros: Saves Over Coffeeshop, Can Make Coffee, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Easy Excellent Frothing, Balanced Acidity, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body
Cons: Not Earth Friendly, Doesn't Work Always, No Organic Espresso Avail, No Refillable Pods Avail

A coffee shop in our home!

I was given a free Keurig Rivo to test out, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is a perfect fit for our house and family. We pulled it out of the box and had it set up and working within minutes. The unit is simple and fool-proof; the only issue we ever had was when we didn't quite have the frothing container set properly and the machine wouldn't work, which only took a second to figure out. We use it for lattes with the Lavazza Rivo cups, and we use it probably even more frequently for frothed milk for hot chocolate and chai lattes for the kids. We have created a whole coffee bar at our house, and it has cut down on our expensive coffee shop habit immensely.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity
