Brand new out of box and won't work.

I couldn't wait to receive my new Rivo. The day it arrived I was so excited to set it up and start making my coffee drinks. Unfortunately, my machine doesn't work. I cannot get it to even perform the clean brew which is the very first brew. According to troubleshooting guide I have done everything that needs to be done to resolve but I am still having the same issues. I called customer service this morning and after a lengthy call was told I would be transferred to someone else. The same rep came back and said that dept wasn't in and they would call me at 1pm my time. By 5:30 I still hadn't heard from them. I called again and was told I needed a new water reservoir and they would ship it to arrive in 3-7 business days. Disappointed they would not overnight that since I've been through this frustration.

Thought I bought a great wedding gift for my daughter. Cups are so small she has to use two. Can't buy a reusable pod or create your own and no choices for variety. Only four. Can only find pods online. Wish I bought something else considering the price of this beast. Already had a small keurig and thought it was an upgrade. NOT!

The Rivo is so easy to use and you have the most delicately delicious cappuccino in a quick moment. The froth is perfect and holds up throughout the entire enjoyment of my morning latte! I am very pleased with the Rivo. ...great quality and very easy clean up! Enjoy!
I returned the Keurig Rivo today! So disappointed with its performance. The espresso component worked flawlessly. The frothing component...not so much! Very inconsistent in its performance. Sometimes it would froth the milk and sometimes it wouldn't. Back it went!!

Needs Major Overhaul

We purchased this system for Christmas and began having problems shortly after the 30-day return policy expired. In theory, it's a great system. The problem is, it rarely works properly. We've had several awesome regular Keurig systems and loved them so much that we purchased at least four for friends and family members. This is the first and last Rivo we will own. Don't waste your money.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY AFTER ONLY TWO CUPS OF COFFEE UNDER THE GRID THERE IS WATER ALMOST TO THE TOP. THEREFORE I HAVE TO EMPTY IT AFTER 2 CUPS OF USE. I ONLY USE KEURIG THEIR PODS...I HAVE CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY DID REPLACE THE MACHINE WITH NO PROBLEM BUT THAT ONE GETS FILL UP WITH WATER TOO.
Cons: They Leak Both Of Them

Hello and thank you for your review! The Drip Tray captures the excess liquid from the brewing process. It should be emptied after approximately every 8 brews. As a reminder, the small red tower in the Drip Tray will become elevated. Water collecting in your Rivo’s drip tray is normal. It's okay for what it is.

I love coffee strong, deep, and rich. I don't feel like the pods that are available currently do justice to this machine. I love the idea of the machine, and mine functions well, however, the actually espresso isn't that great. The flavor of the espresso is okay. It's not the worse I've had (they can be a little sharp, especially the decaf and delicato), but it's definitely not the best. It's just not very strong. The coffee flavor gets lost in the milk and syrups and flavorings unless you double up. I've had to use 2 Intenso just to get a decent coffee flavor in my latte and I'm not even a big syrup or sweetener user. Anyway, the machine itself is great. I wish it got a little hotter, and I mean, just a LITTLE hotter. It comes out at the perfect temperature, which means by the time you pour, stir, and sit down to enjoy it, it's just a little under temp. Please come out with stronger, better flavored coffee pods!
