Unusable after a year

I used my Keurig Rivo every morning before work. I've owned my Keurig Rivo for 1 year and 5 months. Everything was great until about 3 months ago when it started to act up. I would press the short or lungo espresso buttons and it would start frothing a latte and filling the latte cup with water. For awhile I was able to just unplug and plug it back in and then it would work; now I can't get it to brew espresso at all and it just fills the frothing container every time. It's possibly the most frustrating morning encounter anyone can have. Good morning! Here is a machine that is going to drive you crazy first thing in the morning. Have a good day.

My husband and I just love this brewer! We've only had it for a week, but are having so much fun experimenting with all the different beverages that can be made... it feels like we've brought our favorite coffee shop right to our kitchen! We really like the fact that we're in control of the ingredients that go into our beverages. So far, I'd have to say the one con that stands out for us is the counter-space issue: having both a Rivo AND a Keurig Elite brewer in our small kitchen really eats up precious real estate. It would be helpful if the Rivo could brew regular Kcups too, so we could eliminate the need for two separate machines. Overall, we're very happy with our purchase!
Pros: Lots Of Beverage Options, Fresh Ingredients, Easy, Perfect For Entertaining
Cons: Competes For Counterspace

Love my rivo

I got my rivo for my birthday and I absoluetly love it. I now have a regular brewer and my rivo on my countertop. The cappuccinos and lattes taste much better than star...blah and saves a ton of money. And you use real milk, not powder in a pod. I love the way how easy it cleans up.

Delicious but there are kinks

The entire RIVO system is so so so easy to use. The directions are simple and straightforward. I would like to see more recipes but then again I had fun making up my own. My best recipe was the hot mocha (1/2 TBS vanilla simple syrup, 2tsp natural unsweetened cocoa powder, a squirt of hershey's chocolate syrup, a lungo espresso shot and the latte frothed milk). This combo is seriously better than any coffeehouse mocha I've ever had. I love love love how easy it is to clean the pitcher and frothing wand (TOP RACK DISHWASHER SAFE!!). My guests were amazed at the turnaround time on their "orders". I had several people say "I'd like an iced caramel almond milk macchiato but I'd also like to see how well the frother works". This is by far the best and easiest frothing experience I've ever had! I am a little disappointed, the Keurig RIVO has made an awful high pitched squeal several times and I have to unplug it for 2+ hours before it would start working. The majority of my friends have had the same disappointed reaction, as I did, when they realized you could not make a cup of coffee with the RIVO (only espresso). I really really wish this machine was multi-purpose. I typically would enjoy a latte and a cup of black coffee everyday. I cannot in good conscience drink too many lattes (calories!!!). The RIVO takes up quite a bit of precious countertop real estate especially considering it is a sole purpose appliance. I would also prefer to see an eco-friendly option (reusable cups) for the espresso. Technically I could be going green by skipping the coffehouse disposable cups but I'm filling up my own dumpster with the Lavazza shots. I am so thrilled to own a Keurig RIVO. Despite the kinks I really do love the beverages I can create in the comfort of my own home. I guess I'll just have to work out a system for rotating my coffee maker and RIVO.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Easy to use, Easy to clean
Cons: Bulky, Not Multi-purpose, Doesn't make coffee

Better than or as good as Starbucks

Great cup or cappuccino or Latté as good as Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or Panera Bread. The froth works great. We love the machine but have to order Rivo pods. We can't find the coffee anywhere except on line.

Machine makes coffee house quality drinks in a flash! Fast, simple to use, quality feel. I love my keurig machines but hands down my new favorite!! I've owned many new released keurig machines shortly after being offered for the first time. The new Rivo hasn't a glitch, bug, or issue. Kicked the butt of the pitiful "star-blaa" machine. Much better drinks, so easy to use, so easy to clean. Teamed with a real espresso coffee company, and kept the price low. Keurig I can't say I've thought 5 stars for all your brewers some have been better buys for me then others. Good job this time, can't imagine this wont secure your position on the top of the leader board for years to come once again!!!!

Flawless

My super automatic machine broke and this was a temporary replacement. Well, maybe not temporary. I make cappuccinos for my wife and I every morning and they always come out perfectly. Cleaning takes about a minute.

Great for those dairy intolerant

For the dairy intolerant this is a wonderful way to get that latte you have been missing. Any non-dairy milk can be used and, at last, you too can enjoy your latte or cappuccino
