Rivo Party Review

Removing the used pods and liquid that drains in the drip pan is a minor pain. I've spilled the drip pan once already. Maybe if the drip pan was a little deeper in the future designs (I just empty the pan before it is full ). My guests loved the system but some wanted a dual machine (espresso machine but the have an option to use a K cup and just make a average cup of coffee). Having two coffee machines taking up counter space seemed to be the biggest concern
This is a barista's dream, imagine having your favorite signature coffee in a matter of minutes in your own home. It has changed my life. There are so many combinations hot and cold that I haven't found a bad one yet. it is super easy to use and easy to clean.
I use this daily- for a while i was in a coffee rut and hated the taste of all coffee. Using this for a latte everyday has turned that around. The only complaint I have is that the milk doesn't get hot. I sometimes heat it before hand but when I forget the resulting beverage is never piping hot.
Everybody loved the new Keurig® Rivo® Cappuccino & Latte System. It's super easy to use and very flavorable coffee. The Iced latte was a hit! We enjoyed watching the froth getting done and pouring into the best coffeehouse beverage. It's quality and taste is the best. The best part was the many coffee beverages we made from the Keurig Rivo!
I have used a Tassimo for several years, and I loved the idea of being able to use my own milk. I found the espresso to be pretty good for a quick machine. It's not equal to a $1000 espresso maker, but I can sacrifice a little inauthenticity in the espresso for the ease of use and 0 clean-up! That being said, I really like that they have several types of espresso to try. You're bound to find one (or more) you like and can make part of your routine. BTW, the "latte" setting makes more than an average home coffee cup, so I like to use the "cappuccino" setting and not pour in all the foam.
I absolutely love the Rivo system and make lattes and espressos a few times daily. I've had a Keurig brewer for years and I adored it, but I never had a good way of making fancy coffeehouse beverages until now. The only thing I would change would be having an overflow emergency stop for the milk frother. One of our party guests put in too much milk on the high froth setting and it seeped out everywhere. I was mostly concerned about the power switch right below the milk frother, but everything cleaned up fine and it works perfectly still. Overall, this machine is AWESOME and I would highly recommend it!
I am excited to have my new Keuirg Rivo for summer and am impressed with the ease of use and the taste of the drinks. This is definitely a budget helper for the summer. I can make my cold drinks before heading out the door and skip the pricey stands. The only thing I would love to see if an eventual release of a reusable pod. While I would still be purchasing premades to use a lot of the time I would at least like the option on using my own grind.
Pros: Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma, Balanced Acidity, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Easy to use, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Roast
Cons: Refills Are Pricey
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simply Great Coffee Made Simple!

I have been a Keurig devotee for the past decade. The only thing that was missing in my coffee life was espresso. I would have to go to a coffeehouse in order to get my espresso fix even though I have kcup and Vue packs at home. But Keurig has completely changed the espresso world with the Rivo. The Rivo uses 15 bars of pressure, which is needed to extract the wonderful coffee crema - the golden foam that espresso has. You don't make a mess trying to pack in loose grinds or getting the perfect measurements. You use a little espresso packet and place it in the machine and select your size. It is that simple! The coffee used is Lavazza - which I absolutely love! Not a burnt-out espresso bean, but a very rich tasting espresso. Steaming and foaming milk is easy as well. Cappuccino or latte foam at the push of the button - within 30 secs or so, the milk is perfect and at about 180+ as well. It tastes even better than the coffee house, I know exactly what I am putting in and I love the fact that it uses Lavazza coffee and that there is a rainforest blend available for it. Very simple to use, it makes you feel like the perfect barista, and it is very easy to clean up as well! No messy grinds to deal with. I have my perfect latte ready in less than two minutes and I didn't have to leave my own house!
