Amazing machine with simplicity.

I was somewhat skeptical when I first watched the infomercial for this machine. I ordered it anyway because if it did what the ad suggested then I knew I would be pleased and if it didn't, I would be returning it. I am so pleased to say that from the very first cup brewed I was in espresso heaven! It's so easy to use. The flavors are amazing and the frothing pitcher is perfect. I simply love everything about this machine. I've owned numerous espresso/cappuccino makers and none, even the ones with 1,000+ price tags, have been any better than this one. It provides a great cup every time and the clean up is minimal. I love the aroma that fills the kitchen and love even more that I can now avoid the long lines at the coffee shop, not to mention the 6 bucks it was costing for each visit. This will quickly pay for itself and the time saved from no longer waiting in lines is invaluable.
Pros: Beautiful Form, Ease of use, Consistent results

Everything is great--I do however wish that like the K-Cups you could use your own coffee with the filter and what not, that the same could happen here. The Lavazza coffee is wonderful, but sometimes I wish I could use my own espresso. Other than that--get it, it is luxury in a mug.

I thought and thought about purchasing this - already have the RIVO that makes great coffee - but not espresso. Finally decided to purchase and I don't regret it. Everything tastes great - now when my friends come over I can offer coffee, tea, or Espresso drinks - SMILES!!

Great espresso - simple and easy

Great machine - makes a REAL latte or cappuccino with very minimal fuss. Poor man's super automatic. ;) To make the best coffee, do not follow Keurig's instructions. Espresso goes bitter very quickly 30-60 seconds after brewed. So, froth first - the machine allows you to do it in whatever order you wish. If you like a double, triple, or quad at Starbucks, you have to use that many Rivo Intenso pods to get a similar result. Brew straight into the frothed milk for your best result - this locks in the fresh brewed coffee flavor. At about $2.50 per triple latte, I figure I'm still paying a little less than half what it costs at Starbucks. Take the plunge - you'll love it.

Great machine wish it brewed hotter

I like the machine and didn't give it a 5 for 2 reasons 1. There is no temperature control. The espresso brews pretty hot,but the milk does not get as hot. So the beverage is a good temp starting out, but by the time you reach the middle of your cup you are drinking cold cappuccino. 2. It doesn't allow you to froth at the same time you are brewing your espresso. First you have to brew then you froth. So your espresso sits there cooling off until the milk is ready to be poured on top. Other than that its a good machine. Super EASY to use and the taste of the espresso is really good.

My husband got the Rivo for me as a Christmas gift. This machine is perfect for me. It is so easy to use and it takes less than a minute to make my Latte's, which is good because I am always running late in the mornings. Now I can make it and head out the door in a snap. No more daily $5.00 latte's for me.
