Not Very Active or Educational

This game is fun and creative, but it's not very active. I know there are some quests with activity, but for the most part, the child sits and uses the joystick to move around the city and complete quests. It keeps them busy doing things, but I don't feel like it's highly educational or active for the child.
Pros: Fun for kids
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this because it looked like fun and ongoing adventure. I didn't realize how much fun it was for adults, too! It has cute graphics and is very imaginative, with the pop-up cardboard houses and such. It is actually really relaxing to destress after a long day. I didn't realize how much so until I realized I was still decorating my city 3 hours later! Worth the money for all ages, and can be played over and over and always something new.
Pros: Fun for kids, Grows with child, Good for on-the-go play

We're hooked!

This product feels at first a little 'MineCraft-esque' but really isn't once you play it. However, my five year old who loves MineCraft actually LOVES this game as well! He has played it for a long time and never gets bored. He loved building up his city and meeting new characters and customizing the buildings. I love that it encourages creativity and is just a very creative game, as well as introduces kids to concepts about the world.

Fun and educational

Great game! Allows your child to widen their imagination with building towns and trees. They are allowed to design and create their own style of town while following and completing tasks from townspeople! Teaches patterns and colors shapes and letter recognition.

We have other Leap products that included Doodleburg games. So we took a chance on this one, as the kids loved the other one. This game is a lot of creative juice, and the virtual mess that can be created while playing, well its just fantastic. The best part? No clean up! The only draw back, cooperation is required when playing in 2 player mode, as the players must mutually agree to the direction of travel, what to color, what design to build etc... does lead to creative friction.
Pros: Fun for kids

This is now my 7-year old's favorite LeapTV game! So fun and really gets the creative juices flowing. He loves all of the decorating options he can unlock, and I love that it gets him thinking about stuff other than words and math. The "story" is cute. The characters are cute. Everything about it is cute...and sometimes kids just need cute! Can't say enough about it, and will definitely go on my "gift list" for little friends.

My kids love this game so much

We received this game in exchange for a review but all opinions are my own.
This is one of the best games we received for the LeapTV. Both of my younger kids (ages 4 & 7) are in love with this game. My husband and older kids really love that well known game where you build a city but it's too advanced for the little kids to play easily. This is like their own age-appropriate version for the little kids. They can build their own neighborhoods and customize their buildings. The kids were able to play all on their own and they loved the quests. I love that this game focused on real life skills- including recycling and cleaning- as well allowing them to use their creativity.
