Great game for a young princess lover

This is a great game for the princess lover and also for the younger LeapTv user! I know the suggested age is 4-7, but my 3 year old can play most of these games using the wand controller without much help. Other games seem calibrated for more precision, but this one is a little forgiving. Most of all it's so fun for her! She gets to play dress up with her own image on the screen, help Cinderella get ready for the ball, paint a picture with Rapunzel, and more. I'm very happy with this game.
Pros: Fun for kids
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun and learning - what could be better

As I wrote about in the past few days, I recently received a box of "goodies" from LeapFrog for me to check out with my grandsons, and in exchange I'm writing my reviews of these items. Some of the items in the box were new games for the LeapTV.
I'm going to share with you the new LeapTV: Disney Princess: Cinderella and Rapunzel Game today
LeapTV: Disney Princess: Cinderella and Rapunzel Game
Made by - LeapFrog
Ages - 4-7
Favorite Features -
Children will love playing with Disney Princesses - Cinderella and Rapunzel
Six games for children to play by themselves or with a friend/sibling/parent/grandparent
Games are fun, but also teach reading skills.
Children will love the opportunity to dance at a ball, dress like a princess and design their own princess crown.
LeapFrog says; "Put reading skills in motion with the LeapTV: Disney Princess: Cinderella and Rapunzel Game for children ages 4-7 years. Children dance, twirl and make Cinderella and Rapunzel's fairytales come to life using phonics, the alphabet, grammar and spelling. Children get up and moving to become part of the fairytale experience with six magical storybook games and a princess dress-up activity. The pointer becomes a virtual magic wand used to choose words that will help Cinderella's Fairy Godmother get her to the royal ball. Listening and memory skills come into play for feeding farm friends. Children use letter recognition and spelling skills to connect series of stars so they can trace constellations in the sky with Rapunzel. Playing each game magically releases Friendship Hearts, which unlock outfits and accessories from all of your favorite Disney Princesses. Children use their imaginations and have fun making selections from their virtual wardrobe to dress themselves in princess-themed costumes. Children also collect gems that will form their very own princess crown."
Any little girl who loves the Disney princesses is sure to enjoy playing LeapFrog's LeapTV version with LeapTV: Disney Princess: Cinderella and Rapunzel Game! Once again, while my grandsons do not appreciate this game as much as a granddaughter might, this is absolutely a game where children will have fun; whether they are dressing up as a princess or dancing at a ball. And, most importantly, they will be learning letter and reading skills which will help them when they go to school. I know my grandsons have learned letter and reading skills from LeapFrog games/apps and LeapTV: Disney Princess: Cinderella and Rapunzel Game will be no different! Fun and learning - what could be better for little girls!
Pros: Fun for kids, Grows with child, Good for on-the-go play, Educational

Kids will love it!

***I received this item free-of-charge for review purposes.***
My 7-year old LOVES anything to do with Disney and loves to read, so tho this game was on the easy side, he still really loved it...and the story is a lot of fun. Very clever that the controller becomes the magic wand...and there's a lot of movement required in the game. The princess dress-up is really cute...especially for boys. LOL
I think this game will keep kids coming back for more and more.

Fun for all princess fans

We received this game in exchange for a review but all opinions are my own.
My daughter is 4 and she's a huge Disney princess fan. When she saw that our box of goodies from LeapFrog included this game, she was beside herself! She was able to play the 6 games without assistance and her 7 year old brother even enjoyed a couple of the games- especially the Magic Lanterns. My daughter's favorite feature was the princess dress up where she could use her own image to dress up as a princess. She's gotten hours of fun out of this game and I love that it's educational- designed to work on phonics, the alphabet, grammar and spelling- in addition to encouraging kids to get up and move in order to play.
Pros: Fun for kids, Good for on-the-go play, Educational

Great for word recognition

None of my children are princess fans, but they still enjoyed playing this game. This game builds on a child's budding literacy. My kids favorite game was Rupunzel flinging her hair to pick out paint pots. In this game kids need to recognize words that start with a particular letter. Once they have collected enough paints, they get to color a picture, a great reward for their hard work.
If your kids enjoy princesses, they will LOVE this game.

Probably our favorite family game

This game is my daughter's favorite. She specifically LOVES the dress up portion. It's been a fun family activity as we all have taken turns getting dressed up in a Princess outfit and getting our picture taken. It's really incredible how the camera allows you to step into the action. As always, LeapFrog is really great at getting your children to move and exercise while having fun. This game is no exception.
Pros: Fun for kids

This was a hit with my Princess loving girls. My girls are still at a pre-reading stage, but on the verge of reading, so these mini games were perfect for them. I can see how this game will grow with them, which is very good.
The graphics are fun and the game-play was varied, which kept my girls interested. They especially love the Princess Dress up feature, and will keep playing in order to collect more dress up items!
All in all a great educational choice for any Disney Princess fans in your home.
Disclosure: I was given a copy of this game to facilitate my review, however, all opinions are my own.

In between girls at my house...

I will be honest - I expected my girls to love this as much as the Frozen game, but for some reason it was not off the charts for them. There were fun features, but mostly they checked out the different features in the game and moved on to different games. I liked the reading concepts that it pushed to them, and that is perhaps where the problem is my 9 year old is a strong reader and older than the game age range. My other daughter is just 3 and still needing to learn her letters, so I would think that this is a game that in the future she will find entertaining. And as much as I am ok with boys playing with girls games... they just have no interest!
Pros: Fun for kids, Educational
