My setup required additional equipment

Easy setup for the most part, getting the system & cameras on my network going through the OSD setup was very simple. The range of the cameras however are less than desirable. I did have to go out and purchase a Wi-Fi extender and put it in the room next to the camera outside (brick wall). Without it there was no recording period. Now that I have that in place and I'm getting 4+ bars via WiFi on both cameras its a great product! I set it to record 24x7, playback is smooth plus the audio is a bonus.

Great feeatures

All of the features I was looking for in a home security unit. Everything worked straight out of the box. Easy to set up. Reasonable (but not great) wi-fi distance. Easy to view on Mac/PC/iOS etc. Now to add the extra cameras...

Just finished installing and setting up my cameras took a little longer than expected but easy enough to do. My phone setup was quite simple. Haven't yet done the setup on my computer, . Not sure how yet to save the video onto my computer or how to delete the footage that I don't want but I'm sure I will figure it out. Would love to get a couple more cameras but not sure where to get them. Will give more feedback after a couple of weeks.

First up I was surprised at how everything connected without any problems. Cameras have a clear picture, day and night. I saw a review about poor night vision, but mine has no problems and everything (except see below) works as it should.

Good for a first time package...

This product kit is great for a smaller home. A little tough to set up, especially with ATT U-Verse, but after a little tinkering and help from tech support, all is well in surveillance land. Having to input with a mouse sucks by the way.

Extra Camera for this system

Purchased an extra camera for the NVK-460 system. The camera was simple to set up, I just plugged it in and the system immediately recognized it. Installation is a bit of an issue. It would be easier if the base was completely removable from the camera. As it is, the camera hangs down on the wire while you are attaching the base. I worried a bit about dropping it while attaching the base. Other than that, I love this little camera.
