Not enough internal memory

I got the phones for my 16 and 13 year old kids. The phone works ok BUT the 8gb of internal memory is NOT enough. The operating system takes up about 1/2 the 8gb so after installing a couple of apps that CAN'T be moved to the SD car, the phone is useless because it won't let you update any apps
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: not enough internal memory
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My phone had manufacture issues &i was unable to properly fix them so i upgraded to the new S7
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: Did not meet expectations, lack of internal storage

Good phone but has problems

This was a good phone over all for the first 4 months of using it. It started acting weird. Now it'll restart its self while I'm using it. The phone will crash and freeze for a short time. But this phone is pretty durable. Doesn't have enough internal storage. .
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Inexpensive, Built-in speakers
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Not high def, Poor quality

using the SD card

I had to add an Sd card. No big deal until I try to move data over to the card to make room on the phone. Most of the time what I want to move is blocked. I looked in several different help screens for information to fix my problem. I still have not found a good source of information on how to move the programs and data to the card so the phone will work like it should.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Great Value but limited capacity for apps and suddenly quit working

Works great for all functions. Limited 8GB of memory is mostly consumed by the required operating system. Loaded the most basic essential apps I use daily and every time the apps needed to update there was not enough room on the device. I use an inserted micro sd card for all of my music, photos, and documents and even move as many apps to the sd card as possible, but there is still not enough room in the phone memory to handle my apps. Frustrated that I had to uninstall the non-essentials to make the phone usable. Unfortunately the phone suddenly stopped working midday after getting hot. It died completely and would not respond even when connected with USB charging cable. I even tried exchanging a known fully charged battery from an identical phone with no response. Went back to using my older Galaxy S3 by swapping out the sim card, until I had the opportunity to upgrade to the better and larger capacity Galaxy s8+. If you only use phone, text, email, and browse the web you will be fine with the CORE Prime. Be sure to keep your treasured photos and contacts saved externally from the phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive, easy to use, comfortable to hold, removable sd card, transferrable sim card
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, extremely limited memory, failed too soon

Great First Smart Phone

Transition from old style cell was easy! I love all the features of it. Have had it for 3 years and the biggest complaint is that there is only 8 GB of memory. Having said that, I am now unable to download any apps unless I uninstall another first. Updates sometimes fail due to lack of memory, and I cannot connect to the higher band WI-FI. I am ready to upgrade now because of these issues but still love the phone. Another problem with this phone is that it was difficult finding a case and the one I purchased at the store when I bought the phone wore out well before the 1 year warranty. Luckily, I got a new one but it was the same, no choices available.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, great 1st smart phone
Cons: insufficient memory
I would recommend this to a friend!
