I have had my smart phone for a few weeks and have become to enjoy it more than my computer. My only wish is to design a battery that last longer. I think it is worth every penny! The second thing is data usage plan. Due to all apps needing updates which eats at the data plan itself it is time to re review and expand the monthly data usage or get rid of the limited usage plan and open up unlimited data plans!
Previously had a Noika cell phone for emergency usage only. Decided to learn smartphone complexities. I view this as an Utra Mobile Personal Computer rather than a mobile phone. I really haven't used the Samsung product yet except make a few phone calls. I'm not impressed with Contacts app, but that's an app, not Samsung.
I really love my Core Prime, It has all the features I love about Android phones with a thin sleek design. The only place I would suggest a change would be if game apps really went on the Micro SD cards better. You can move them from the device to the card, however only a very small part of the app actually moves so you do not get device memory freed up enough to be able to have a decent selection of games and apps. If at least 1/2 to 2/3 of the app would go to the Micro SD card you could be able to explore more of what the phone can offer. Might also think about allowing users to remove more of the pre-loaded apps that the user does not use, which would allow for more apps that are used to be utilized, creating a great enjoyment of such a good product. Aside from my suggestion(s) this is by far one of the best phones I have owned.
Fast and sleek design with large display for easy texting and streaming of video. The 8GB memory limits what you can download for apps to this phone but a microSD card can be added if you like to download music and take photos. As with any 8GB phone, you have to be selective about which apps to download. I have downloaded Pandora, Netflix and Kindle and all work great with 30% left on this 8GB device. Overall, an enjoyable device with a large screen that slides easily into pocket and while not a HD display is still enjoyable to read books and watch video on. Outside viewing can be troublesome due to sun glare. Camera is serviceable (remember to change resolution to 5MP in camera settings from factory default), but you will want to go choose a higher-level model phone if high quality camera/video recording is mandatory. It does do okay with outside pics, but inside pics are very average. If the Galaxy Core stands up to time, it will be a great purchase but for now it's just great out of the box. It looks like an expensive phone and you still want to protect it with a case!
