Speakers great- bestbuy delivery bad

Review in two parts.
Bestbuy/Delivery - Terrible. Spend $1k on a single speaker. you expect it to show up like if you went to the store and bought it? NO. Purolator will contract these out due to weight so expect zero tracking and have to throw out the boxes. (which sucks, if you ever want to repackage the speakers for moving etc...).
Speakers- At their current reduced price these clearance polk lsim speakers are great.
They have solid cabinets, that are properly reinforced. For similar price most of the competitor towers are vinyl wrapped and weigh closer to 30-40 lbs. (vs 80lbs). The finish is awesome. I've noticed some glue residue along edges (front baffle) but easily wipe off.
The floor feet work great. Rubber or spike being able to adjust for rake / uneven floor is awesome.
These have a unique design that have eliminated the bass null issues I have in my listening room. Also they have no problem pressurizing my 13.5x16.5 ft room.
Definately need a power amp. Would not recommend a receiver or regular preamp. They do work, I've used both my Denon receiver, and Marantz integrated. But a proper amp will make these speakers shine. Basically Bass is stronger and more defined at the same volume. I found the same with polk's RTI series.
Buy some furniture sliders as toe in greatly changes the sound with these. makes small adjustments much easier
I would recommend this to a friend!

Theses speakers sound better and are better built than my paradigm downstairs and my kef I was running in the living room. They have amazing sound quality and great lows, very satisfied. I got black and wish I would have got cherry.

Lism 705 Floor Standing Speakers

Very happy with my purchase of a pair of Lism 705's to replace the fronts in my 7.1 surround system. These speakers are solidly built and very attractive. They provide excellent sound reproduction for both music and movie sources. I also upgraded to a 140 watt per channel Yamaha receiver (from 100 watts) which is probably the minimum you'd want to drive these. They definitely need lots of power to bring out their potential.
