Easy To Use

I've wrote a review back in December 2019 and wanted to give an update. My Dremel 3D20 is still going strong and have had no issues. With the ease of bed leveling and software it's a great printer for beginners. My only dislike is that you have to buy Dremel brand filament to maintain any kind of warranty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great entry level printer

I wanted to cut my teeth on an easy to use printer that had solid views as well as options if I want to purchase a more advised one with more options in the future (3D45). I have to say the 3d20 has been as easy to use as advertised. The quick setup guide was straight forward and I was up and running with printing other 3D models with the 3DSlicer with minimal trouble. I am proceeding with building out a model machine shop for EE/IoT projects

I bought this to do projects with my 6 year old grandson. The preloaded files are easy to use and we were up and running right away. The machine is much quieter than I expected, which is a nice surprise. The covered unit keeps an excited little boy away from the heat and print project while he can watch the process. The software was easily downloaded from the internet. We just need to figure out the next step to make other projects, which might prove to be a challenge for us.

Great 3D printer for experienced and new users

I just received this printer for use in my classroom. It is fast, accurate and quiet. To check quality, I compared the same print job on this printer and printer by a different manufacturer. The 3D20 had superior resolution and speed. I was also able to remove the support structure cleanly and easily, unlike the model from the other printer. We have 5 printers at my school. The 3D20 will become the workhorse.

Good, but not the best.

I have had this printer for over a year now, and while the print quality is fairly good, to get the full capabilities of this printer you will need outside software such as cues for better slicing and in my case a replacement tube in the heat block assembly. The claims that this printer is quite are totally fabricated, which can be seen by the multiple models put online to address the overwhelming sound this printer makes. To fully take advantage of this printer, you will definitely have to make spool holders that can be placed on top and buy 3rd party filaments to get that little extra ounce of quality. Overall it is a good printer, lacks some print volume, and some of the marketing is misguided but a solid printer at the cost.
