[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are some advantages and disadvantages of this printer. An advantage is, it is easier to take apart the extruder when there is a filament clog. The downside is it is harder to level the plate. The new Dremel 3D printer is way more advanced in leveling since it is automated. However, it is harder to take apart the extruder when there is a filament clog. A disadvantage is, it requires tape or a plate on the glass whereas the newer model only requires glue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this for me, and while it didn't have the features I was wanting (no heated bed, no auto leveling, no multi-materials) but as a beginer I can say it has been a good place to start. I'm learning basics and have done many nice prints on it.
I got this a couple of days ago and has been constantly printing since. It is a wonderful way to enter the 3D printing world due to its price and ease of use. I would recommend if you see this to get this if you want a printer.
My first 3D printer! I brought it home (Christmas present from the kids) and ripped open the box. I started printing a tree frog about 20 minutes later, it's that easy. I'm printing the hex vase now, while I'm downloading the software and firmware updates. I look forward to designing my own. I'll update this review if anything changes after I have used it for a while.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this printer for almost 2 years now. I’ve used to for everything from RC car parts. Real car part such as gauge pods and door handles. It’s very easy to you and a great starter printer for someone who is just getting started with 3D printing. My only complaint I have about this printer is that it doesn’t have a heated build plate. But you will definitely pay a lot more for a printer of this caliber that has a heated build plate however build quality still excellent. I’ve never had any issues with this printer but Im currently looking at buying another one because I love it so much. I highly recommend the 3D20
Just bought this, and it is my first printer. Out of the box it was printing in ten minutes, and absolutely everything is great. The interface is very user friendly and easy to navigate.
on my second box so far under warranty and unhappy

purchased thru cables and more in July, it took me near 4 months to get filament post machine arriving so it remained in box. I opened first one and everything was off the slides and belts dislodged, I growled quite a bit and it took me another 2 weeks to get replacement, I opened that box and the door was broken and door was taped to face of machine case. I made a single dice print from supplied models then a high res flat with geometric and uniform reliefs that was a 18 hrs print, 9.5 hrs into said print and machine g-code skips over 1 inch to left and ruins 9.5 hrs of work. Onto send phase of that same flat print and the machine is printing material in between posts where is is not in the 3D model so the clean up I should not have to do is going to be difficult as best to salvage this 16hr print. So far not having stellar feeling about this pricey little tool I yet to be able to recoup any funds from via usability towards product.......
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the Dremel 3D45 printer a month ago for my classroom. It has been a great product. It is quiet and fast. I am looking forward to using it with my students.
