Harrowing experience setting the Printer Up

I bought this printer and now that it is operational I love it. The biggest issues with this printer were that the set up instructions were poor. When I called Epson support (after waiting 84 minutes to speak to customer service the CSR said without prompting you did not charge the print head item 11. She was correct and it took 20 minutes to charge the print head and she had to stay on the line until this was accomplished. Next in order to set the printer to operate wirelessly it was necessary to disable my router security for the set up period but that was also not clear in the instructions and took quite a bit of time with the CSR to accomplish. Had Epson made sure these issues were highlighted and carefully explained if you did not know the process of temporarily disabling your router security it would have made life much easier.
After that the Printer is a gem it is quiet has a of of ink and makes great copies!

Love it, except!

I've had my printer about a month, and love it. It was very easy for this old man to set up, (68) and I love the ink bottles, instead of those stupid cartridges. The one thing I don't like is there is not a document feeder for scanning, so I have to do it one page at a time. Very inconvenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buying this printer is a decision I'll never regret. I've had it several months and can't even see where the ink has gotten lower, even though it's used for the most part to print pictures! And it's so easy to set up, use and connect to other devices. I wouldn't trade it for any other printer.

Great money saver

I bought this printer in October 2016 and couldn't be happier with it. I have been working on my family history for years and do a lot of printing. The cost of ink was really high so I started looking for a solution. When I found the ET-2550, I decided to try it. I have probably printed over 2000 items and have used about 1/3 of the black and 1/4 of the colored inks. The print quality is great and I would recommend this printer to anyone. I figure that I am saving over $500 a year on ink.

Very bad quality and horrible utilities

I do not recommend this printer at all. Installing it is a pain. In windows, Epson has proprietary utilities. Connecting to the printer is difficult with WI-FI. After 10 months of use the colors begin fading. Black pages have white lines across letters even after filling with new ink. Will return asap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had many Epson Printers, this one so far is great. So Glad Epson developed a Liquid Ink Supply system. No more overpriced cartridges. Printing to my little hearts desires. Color quality is great as well. Set up was a breeze. Very happy with this printer. Not only would I recommend this for a friend, I have already done so with two friends.
