I often make several meals at a time and this food processor makes all the prep work a breeze. It makes the all day process of chopping and gets it done in a very short period of time. I love the fact that you can use the slicing blade to get different thicknesses and the fact that it also has a grating blade. Its also very sturdy. The first food processor I had was a different brand and it broke the first time I tried to lock the canister in. I don't have to worry about this with the KitchenAid processor.
