Broken - expected better quality

Cracked on me after only months of use. The glass looks heavy duty and I thought this would be more durable and stronger than the stainless steel bowl. Sadly I was wrong. I'm not sure now whether to replace it with another glass one or just try out the stainless steel ones, I've been reading they have issues too. I liked the aesthetic of glass a lot better, but hesitant to buy another glass bowl now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Devastated

I bought this a while back as the bowl minus the base would go in the microwave to sofen the butter. I was beating brown sugar and soften butter when, to my astonishment the machine started to vibrate wildly and the bowl started to crack. Finally after pieces of glass went across the floor, I managed to safely swtich off the apliance at the wall. From what we could see afterwards, the plug at the top front of the apliance had vibrated loose and fallen into the bowl resulting in cracking it and damaging my caeserstone benchtop.
After the cleaning up process, I removed the plug and screw, never to be used again!
