The mycharge came fully charged so I was able to use it right away. I plugged my iphone 5 in and it began charging right away. It began charging my phone rather quickly! Great little size and great for traveling! We are headed to Costa Rica and I needed something that would be able to charge my phone quickly and not take up too much space in my day pack! Comes at a great price point! Very easy to use.
