We have been using this stovetop for several months and love it. Wish we could set an automatic shutoff timer and it is difficult to clean at times. Other than these two things it is a solid product so far.

Replaced old cooktop with this new one. Installed as advertised - easy, proper fit, instructions clear, packing of product good. Loved the old one and anticipate this one will be even better.

After finish making yellow rice and beef stew, I turn off the stove and the light that indicase hot surface would not go off when the stove when cold. And now it gos on but thr burner wont go on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is normal operation for the HOT SURFACE indicator light to glow when its corresponding radiant element is turned on. It will remain on until the surface has cooled to approximately 150°F.
Since your burner will not come on, first, check your house circuit breaker to be sure it has not tripped off. Next, try shutting off the breaker for a short period of time, and then turn it back on. This will often reset the internal circuitry.
