I am loving my new cooktop. We replaced a GE profile that was installed in 1996 they really last. The only thing wrong with the old one was the halogen burner quit. I love not having knobs to clean around and the rim is gone makes overall cleaning easier.

Great looking product, really like the beveled edge on the glass.
This cooktop replaced our 15year old 36" GE cooktop that finally started to fail.
If this one performs like the old one I will be well pleased.

I wasn't sure I would like this but I do. I had a Termadore Cook and Vent which had to be replaced after 25 years. I loved it and wasn't happy to have to replace it. I lost the grill and the cover that I used to place items on. I was afraid to set things on this new top for fear of scratching it, No sample of cleaning product came with the stove top. One of my friends with a similar stove top suggested a product which cleans the top beautifully. I have come to love the touch top ,especially the ability to turn off all the elements when not in use. I am not as afraid to set things on the top as I was at first. I did have to get rid of my Club aluminum pans but had enough others that work. Have not used it yet for canning. My canning kettle bottom is not smooth. The info says it will work but just not as quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
