waste of money

Four months after the 1 year warranty expired our GE Cooktop gave up in the day of the Christmas Eve.
It did not work no matter how much we tried to reset all the sensors or to unplug the device.
It is unacceptable to pay for such an appliance and be forced to buy a new one in less than 18 months.

THIS ELECTRIC COOKTOP IS AN UP-TO-DATE REPLACEMENT OF THE ONE THERE WHEN WE MOVED INTO OUR CONDO. THIS COOKTOP HAS A MORE ELEMENTS, INCLUDING A WARMER AND A FAST BOIL ONE. IT IS EXCELLENT

This was a perfect fit for an 11 year old cook top in a granite counter top. It is sleek, I love the fact is has no knobs and the various size elements make this very usable.

Great cooktop but hard to clean

This cooktop works efficiently and I especially like the power boil ring. The only problem is its really hard to clean even with the recommended ceramic cooktop cleaner and after only a few months I have got scratches on the cooktop surface!
