Nice cooktop

The cooktop has; good features but the bridge option does not work like my older GE cooktop. The older one heated both round coils but also the spaces between the circles making an oval heating area. This one only heats the 2 round circles. What's the point? I could just turn on the 2 burners separately for the same result. Also, this black top always looks streaky. I am pretty much fanatical about this cooktop and my last. My last one was white and always looked great even after 16 years. I clean this one first with ceramabryte then wipe off the excess with a damp paper towel, then spray it with either Windex or a degreaser spray and I still see streaks. Wish the new models came in white. Surprisingly white was easier to take care of.

Great Cooktop

I just love my new GE Profile Cooktop. I brought this one to replace my old GE Cook (2003 Monogram Series). The Profile is just as good as the Monogram if not better in several ways. I love the two burner link which is ideal for grilling and handling long pans. I like the fast boil element feature too. So far (only have the cooktop about a month) the surface wipes up relatively easy.

Easy to install; great to use!

We are so pleased with our new GE cooktop, which we purchased to replace a 20+ year old GE Profile model. The new one has much more precise temperature control and is easier to clean. I did the install myself and it was a breeze.

Beautiful Cooktop

Just replaced my KitchenAid cooktop after having it 17 years. Went with the GE Profile 36" - it's a very nice looking cooktop - lots of bells and whistles - no knobs to clean around. Making my first pot of chili - it's a breeze and she cleans up very easy! I'm a happy mom!

Flat top is the ticket!

No more knobs to clean around. Still the amazing burner features I enjoyed on my previous GE Profile cooktop. Durable surface. I cook primarily with cast iron. Care is an obvious necessity, but nothing more than normal. I would recommend this product to others without hesitation.

Recommended by our carpenter b/o it would fit in our slightly narrower counter. Happened to be one of the models we were considering. Jazzes up the counter-top. Our only issue is we needed to purchase 1/4in silicone pads to protect the glass/ceramic surface from cracking, if one of our saucepans hanging on hooks above the stove-top along the perimeter of the cabinet would happen to fall off its hook.
