I bought this window A/C unit for my apartment in July of 2018. Before 1 year of use, it started to make this loud buzzing sound that will not let you sleep at night. Unfortunately the noise was so unbearable that i had to buy another a/c unit that I didnt have the money to spend on. Poor quality of internal parts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, smart modern no-nonsense design! Works great! Will cool a large livikng room and adjacent dining room. Will also heat the immediate area in front of it and slowly heat the entire large area. Quiet operation, more quiet than the unit it replaces. Remote is simple and easy to operate, and it is worth whatever effort needed to provide the 240 Volt AC, 20 Amp power it requires. Well done! May order another one soon!

Heater failed

I bought two of these five years ago. I use them when working in my shop, so it isn't like they get constant use.
The first one lost part of the temperature display digit in a couple of months. The second quit heating last winter. Difficult to disassemble, the heating element is fine, one of the failsafes failed.
Won't be buying another, quality isn't good and service life is too short.

Good for the price

Perfect size -not this huge unit protruding from house. This unit was installed in the wall -extremely easy installation. Has a rattle when you place fan speed on 'hi' and overall operation is louder than expected but still more quite than the unit it replaced. Haven't tried the heater yet, will update if possible.
Pros: easy to use, eer

great new feature is the thermostat control,

i installed this unit 2 1/2 months ago, to replace a similar unit by LG (which lasted approximately 5 years)
one major issue is once the unit reaches the desire temperature setting there is a rattle within the unit. very annoying sound
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Energy and money saving workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only AC/Heat unit in a 420 sf vacation rental I own/operate. My guests often forget to turn it off as they explore the city for the day, yet my bills are low. The only downside is that the filter is hard to clean, and it's tedious work to clean the air vent panel of dust.
