The dry mode is terrific eliminating humidity

I love this air-conditioner. It's slightly heavy putting it in the window because it is a little long. Otherwise,this is a fantastic air-conditioner especially the dry mode because it takes the humidity out of the air making it much cooler.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Good Machine...my second one!

I bought this unit to replace an old one, (the same model that I purchased 6 years ago), which is just now beginning to show some weakness in the extreme heat we are having. I put the old one down in a smaller room and it is still chugging away. I got 6 seasons out of it, and I am sure that I will get at least 1 or 2 more.
The new one is a champ just like the old one, but does a slightly better job, using 2 less amps while producing slightly higher cooling capability...my 2nd floor 325 square foot room is ICE COLD and the temp outside is 95 with high humidity. They are very efficient.
I like these units and would not hesitate to buy more when needed.

I bought this unit for my RV ,my overhead unit went out and I was dreading the thought of putting in a new one .After thinking about it I decided to go with a window unit ,so glad I did the instal was easy , the cost to run has been about half of what the original unit cost to run .pretty quite and looks good in my window .best thing I did for myself this summer . Would buy another one any time ,oh yeah the remote control is the bomb love it also the timer just great ,as you can tell love my LG .Good phones too.

When my old air conditioner started having problems I went on line to look for a new one. The LG air condtioner I bought had great reviews which is why I got it. The reviews were so true. I love my AC. We recently had a number of days in the 90's or high 80's and the AC did it's job great. I like the feature that a lite comes on when the filter needs to be cleaned.

We bought this unit to replace an older window ac, we were looking for something more efficient as our evaporative cooler broke. We have been extremely pleased and even recommended this unit to friends who were looking for something small but powerful. Well worth the money and we are happy!! Especially love the remote control, energy saver option and that it alerts you to "clean filter". Another LG addition too our home!!

Cool Runnin'

I bought one of these AC units and liked it so much that I purchased a second unit for another room. Consumer Magazine rated this AC as one of the top two out of many. Have had these units since Labor Day 2015 and they made my day during the 100°F+ heat waves (yes plural).

Love this AC

In June it was time to put my old window AC in... and it started blowing hot air. After messing with it for a bit, I've decided it was time to get a new one. Some internet research pointed me towards this one, and I'm so glad I bought it! Cooled down my apartment very quickly, has a remote, super convenient, fairly quiet, and has plenty of settings to adjust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My landlord got this unit mid summer last year and through that summer it lasted just fine to cool my attic studio apartment. This summer, though, it turns on but the compressor won't activate at it's full potential, only slightly cooling the air. Being in an attic in a humid area, so far this summer has turned into a muggy inferno where the air is made of hot soup, and the best this thing can do for me is blow some air around and be a little noisy. I made sure to follow the care instructions so it would last considering the price tag, but I guess its a one hit wonder. Worked good for one summer, now its taking the summer off.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
