[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I HAVE PURCHASED LG 8,000, 12,000, 12,000, 15,000, AND 24,500 AND 3 DAYS AGO A PORTABLE 12,000. OF A THESE, THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE AND EASILY THE BEST VALUE. WHEN IT COMES ON, IT CRANKS OUT THE COLD AND FOR SOME REASON JUST OUTPERFORMS THE OTHERS BY A MILE. THEY JUST BUILT THIS ONE RIGHT.
Pros: Performance, Quality, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG air conditioner that has quit working properly within 2 years. Both of them got where they come on but the compressor will NOT SHUT OFF. I am very disappointed that my LG products have not held up longer than they did. Notice I bought TWO that both failed.
Pros: easy to use

This is my second LG window a/c-wore out the first one.
In Texas when summer starts late May-early June I turn on the Window a/c and it runs 24/7 until Fall late October.
The old LG window a/c 15,000 btu worked until rust and general wear and tear required a replacement.
When I bought the replacement unit all I had to do was remove the old core and slide the new core into the external casing, perfect fit.
The old unit was till operable but not as efficient. I gave it to someone who had no working a/c.
The new unit is working fantastic and blowing really cold air.
Pros: Performance, Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't expect the fan motor to last longer than 5 months. Other than that, it does produce cold air.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second one of this model for us to own. The last one was damaged in a thunderstorm. We liked it so much that we just had to have another. Particularly like the energy saving mode. Very efficient and low cost to operate.
Pros: Features/Settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to cool a 5 room apartment on one level and it does a great job. It was 90 degrees out and it kept the apartment at 68 degrees all day. I recommend this to anyone looking for a act unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a 2 story house with no central air. .Upstairs is a stairway and hall and 3 rooms. This unit was placed just at the top of the stairs. It has morning sun on that side.Well I was told this unit would cool the whole upstairs. Well guess what it does a very lousy job. the air goes down into the stairway . Then into the other rooms. It does not cool very well. Keeping it on automatic. So as not to use to much electricity. I had to put a tent of material to block the stairwell. Now it still doesn't keep it very cool . I have the thermostat set on 76 degrees. I have a cat that refused to come down. She has claimed the upstairs for herself. Or else I wouldn't have the air on at all. The temp won't get below 80. With the thermostat set at 76 degrees. I even closed one door to one of the rooms. Afraid what my electric may be next bill coming. dont buy this unit if you want a cool house.

Product is quiet operating; cools fantastically; easily operated; easily installed; and is far better than other units I have had in the past. Price /value is indeed a very big plus. I've never had to have the fan above F2 even on the hottest Texas days. Filter is easy to clean. Remote is easily operated. Minimum noise means that sleeping in the same room with the unit is great.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
