Samsung - Best Value and Performance out there!

This was our 3rd Samsung TV purchased in the past few years to replace older TV's at home. We tried a couple of other Brands and returned them withing a few days.... The set up; quality of the picture; and, ease of operation are head and shoulders above the competitors.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, ease of set up

Beautiful picture. The TV looks and is much less bulky than my old flat screen with the the thin frame. It was easy to set up. I haven't had a chance to check out all the features but there are lots of options.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

This particular 40 inch LED Samsung Smart TV is the best in its range among all the peers we could compare. The picture quality, the features, the sound, the colours are all superb to mention a few. We got full value for our money.

Very difficult to read directions.

Very difficult to read directions on hook-ups - I cannot get my TV connected to my wireless network.

This TV was a Christmas present. It is mounted on the wall so we can watch TV in bed. Our two poodles watch it, too!
I watch the free local broadcast HD TV channels and a lot of free streaming videos using WiFi. We subscribe to a couple of inexpensive streaming video services, which are also shared with other TVs at home. We don't need to subscribe to cable TV or add a DVD player.
This TV is very energy efficient so we can leave it on all the time and it doesn't heat up the room..
The speakers sound good and the picture is excellent. You can add a wireless USB keyboard or a special USB webcam if you want to.
This TV can stream video, photos, and music wirelessly from my laptop computer. It can become a large computer monitor, and it can also play videos from a USB flash drive, SSD, or hard drive.
I'm thinking of adding a set of stereo RF wireless headphones so I can watch TV late at night without disturbing anyone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, versatile, wireless computer monitor, on-screen manual, energy efficient
Cons: requires a special webcam, awkward to surf the net using only the remote., could use more usb ports., must be a compatible device to send video to tv.

Great 40" Smart tv but no built in cable holder.

Ok lets see here, I just got this tv the other day, I really like and had lots of cool features, an its thinner than most other 40" TV's I have looked at, and my favorite feature of the tv is the "electronic program guide" so I can see what's on with out having to look at the paper version. This tv was for my bedroom an it was the perfect it. It sets on my dresser on top of an old DVD/VHS combo player. The tv is really bright which is nice an even look cool when its turned off. So really my only complaint I have on this tv is that there is no built on cable holder for your cables. You have to use those small heart shaped sticker ones but the problem with them is they DON'T last long or if you have heavy cables through it, the cable holder or wire stand as Samsung calls it looses its stickiness after a short while or the cables some weight to it an pulls it off an you have to replace it several times with new ones, I have had to order 5 of these cable wire stands just so I will have extras to use. I wish this tv had a built on cable holder to hold all your cables in place when you connect them to your tv. But other than that I am pretty happy with this set.

Cons: no built in cable holder or wire stand, needs a seprate yellow white red rca input, composite an componet inputs mixed in, have unplug something to plug something else in, no voice command feature on this set
