Reliable small business laser printer...

I've been using one of these color CLX-6260 series laser printers for 10 months. I've printed about 1,100 pages in color and 1,700 pages in black. All of the toner cartridges have 1-3% left. (I state this to give you an idea of how many pages you can get out of the "starter" toner cartridges that come with the printer. You get more pages out of the refill cartridges from what I understand.)
Overall I have been very happy with this printer. It is fast and not super noisy. The text and graphics are very clean looking. It works great with my Windows PC and has been fairly easy to set up. The menus are a bit confusing, but once you learn where everything is then things go smoother when navigating. Copying and scanning has also met my expectations. It should be noted that the 6260FD model that I have has a duplexer so it can print on both sides of the page; however the scanner does not have this option so making double sided copies is a manual process (copy one side, then flip and copy the other).
I have two recommendations for improvement... The auto-installation of drivers, an option that is available using the Samsung diagnostic software, should probably be avoided as I have had it install older versions of the drivers when I already had the "latest" installed. Additionally I have had it create "copy 1," "copy 2," etc. printer objects that I ended up having to delete. Another issue I have run into is the diagnostic software/installer has occasionally installed the driver that does not support duplex printing. For these reasons I have learned to manually install and update the drivers instead of using the software that comes with the printer (and that can be downloaded from the web). (Note: Future versions of the diagnostic software may correct these issues.)
The other suggestion I have involves the firmware for the printer. I know the old adage... "if it ain't broken, don't fix it:" however I find it hard to believe that since July 2013 there hasn't been any firmware updates to fix flaws in the printer's microcode. I have thoroughly checked the Samsung website looking for newer firmware, but I can't find any. I would like to see Samsung make their firmware available freely (and visibly) available in the support area of their website. Also, IMO if no code is released within two years of releasing a product to the consumer market then you risk sending the signal that you aren't actively supporting the product. I am sure that the firmware for this printer is not perfect. :)
Overall, I really like this printer and hope to continue to use it for years to come.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, fast startup time
Cons: driver auto-installation issues, firmware is not being updated

Because there was Linux support for this printer I bought it. But there was minimal support for for FAX. Even though Samsung uses Linux internally on some of their products it fails to support Linux users. MAC and Windows have support where Linux has none. Also Tray paper handeling for the 6260 printer is confusing where getting MP Tray empty messages are always coming up.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Printer - Software can be confusing at times

The printing preferences tabs are confusing. One feature that could be a little more seamless is scan to email. You can't just scan to email and your email screen pop up with the document attached. You have to scan doc, find it in your computer and then attach. This sophisticated of a machine should do that if you want it to. There is a last settings option. You think it will print something just like your last print. But no - if you have opened an older document that has been printed in the past - it prints it like it did 3 weeks ago. Not like a document you printed 3 min ago.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: software design

Very disappointed!!! I have never had so many problems with a samsung product, would recommed only if you print on occassion
Pros: quiet when printing, perfect size
Cons: Did not meet expectations, cannot handle daily printing
