Been trying to improve my chin-up and pull-up strength. This has really helped. No complaints about the construction - it's very sturdy, powder coated, good hardware. The foam wrap around the handles has held up very well, and has kept my hand form blistering. I'm not sure I need the u shaped loops - that extra feature gets in my way when I'm working on pull-ups, but those loops add functionality for sit ups and push ups, and I could always take them off. Taller people might find that doorway pull-ups are awkward. Sometimes is easier to go to my gym and work out on a dedicated chin-up bar, but it's nice to have the option of doing this at home and on weekends. My teenage boys love it and it another work out activity I can do with them.

I'm a senior citizen, and building and retaining strength is important. The doorway trainer is easy to move from floor to doorway for use, and then to a corner of the room for storage. It works, too. Combine it with long walks, some gentle aerobics like t'ai ch'i or yoga, and you have an affordable, decent fitness program.

I bought this pull-up bar a few weeks ago, and I'm really happy with it. It was pretty easy to assemble, and it feels very sturdy. I don't have gaps between the molding and my doors, so I didn't use the safety bracket (no easy way to install it), but as long as you're careful with usage, that's not a major concern. I've also left mine mounted as a reminder to USE IT (it says not to keep it mounted full-time), and it's very stable.
I don't know how useful this is for the various other exercises they show on the packaging (most of which can be easily done on the floor without equipment), but for pull-ups using various different hand positions, it's really great!

I bought this pull-up bar a few weeks ago and am extremely pleased. It is sturdy and allows me to complete multiple exercises besides the basic pull-up. Just a word of caution, double-check to see if this will fit your door frame. I live in an older house and was having problems finding a door that would fit. It was able to fit in the hallway where a door was not attached. Otherwise, it is a great purchase!

not too difficult to assemble. It's easy to use and fits under furniture to stay out of the way. Wasn't too sure about the safety wedge or how it could be inserted in door frame though. Otherwise, did my first workout and can already tell I'm going to use this for an extended period time, it will not be a short lived piece of equipment in my home. Hello summer abs & arms! Thank you!
