21:9 IPS panel for reasonable price

This monitor can replace dual monitors with the advantage there are no bezels in the middle- which lets me "squeeze" a third window onto the screen. Got to keep the second monitor - for when I need it. IPS panel has nice color rendering. Great for applications that use multiple windows, for music, photo or video editing. 21:9 is native to film, so movies, "fit" well. One caution - a DVI-D dual link cable is required - I had a DVI-I - no good (the different DVI-cables / adaptors to HDMI look similar but aren't.) Without it the monitor didn't sync.

Fantastic Monitor

I do a lot of video editing and Blu-ray watching, and this monitor is excellent. Max resolution of 2560x1080, and although I only utilize 1920x1080, Blu-rays look amazing on this monitor. Scope features fill up the entire screen, and watching Blu-rays in full 2.35:1 in Cinema 1 mode on this monitor is breathtaking.
This is a very strong purchase for the high-end moviephile; I've only had this for a few days so far, but I love it. Price point might be a little high but frankly, it's worth every penny.
My only minor complaint is that this doesn't have a remote to make switching aspect ratios and adjusting volume a little bit easier. The toggle controls at the bottom of the screen seem a bit cheap and breakable.

Amazing and so easy to use with my Mac

This display is amazing for the price! It took less than 2 min to set up. It connected with my mac very easily all I needed was a thunderbolt adapter which you can pick up at any electronic store. Amazing color and contrast. The extra width has helped with countless programing assignments. The only negative is that I wish the speakers were a little better but I can also have additional plug in speakers so not a big deal

My vision is not what it used to be and I really needed a larger monitor. The ultrawide was exactly what I needed. The picture quality is what you would expect from lg (great) and it is large enough to where I can see what I couldn't before. Really looks great when watching movies. Also, the ability to see 4 screens at once is something you have to see to appreciate.
I highly recommend this monitor.
