Does not work on induction burners

It was a very quality pan. I have to use it at my mother's house as I have a an induction range and it would not work on it. My mother has a gas stove and I am not used to using it and had some issues regulating the temp. My mom used the pan and loved it. She had no problem with temp regulation. Goes to say that is was a user problem and not the pan. I left the pan for my mom to have and she loves it. Says is compares well to her favorite pans which is anything with a copper bottom.

Love this pot!

I love this pot! It's heavyweight feeling, in that it doesn't feel cheap. It's weighty, it heats well and the handle feels nice and tight not at all wobbly. It's easy to clean and is exactly what you would expect from the Farberware line. I would recommend this to friends easily and it has quickly become a heavy rotation item in our home!

Prefect addition for my kitchen

The 3 quart pan has been used daily since I got it . I didn't know about this product before hand and I am glad I do now . The pan cooks all my sauces,rice and noodles perfectly. It is just the right size for some of the dishes I make too . It heats up fairly quick and cooks evenly . The sauce pan is easy to pick up and drain when need be too. I have had no trouble at all. It is easy to wash and wipe down. I would absolutely recommend.

Great sauce pan

I really like this pot. The size is perfect for almost anything you need a pot for. Whether it's for a couple or a family. I really like the style of the handle how it is raised somewhat and not just straight out. I cook meals for our family and I've used this pot several times since I've received it. It has held up nicely. Food hasn't stuck to it.. even the time I got side tracked and thought for sure my scalloped potatoes would be burnt and stuck to the bottom of it, they weren't they were still in good shape! Didn't stick at all! It's easy to clean. The lid fits on just right, it's not too tight or too loose. I would definitely recommend this pot to anyone looking for a new pot.

I used this the first time to make rice. I'm not sure why but I have never been able to make rice. However, with this pan, it turned out perfectly. I'm giving credit to the pan! I love it.

Beautiful high-quality stainless steel

The Farberware Classic Series 3-Quart Covered Saucepan is very durable. It is made of high-quality stainless steel so you can expect it to last for years. I have owned Farberware cookware for 15 years and still going strong! This saucepan is perfect for making sauces, soups and many other dishes. The phenolic handles are safe enough for you to hold without getting burned because it doesn't get too hot. It gives you a stronger grip to making cooking easier. It is also oven safe. The best feature of this pan is the ability to pour without the contents spilling. This reduces splatter which is a huge plus for me. Everything you put in the pan cooks evenly because of the heat distribution. Another plus is that the cover traps in moisture and nutrients. This pan is not too heavy to lift or hold but the aluminum core is heavy-duty. I am glad to add this wonderful saucepan to my collection of Farberware cookware. The stainless steel core is beautiful and I am confident it will never rust. This pan is also dishwasher safe so you don't have to worry about getting it damaged. I have been using it everyday and it sits on my countertop. I highly recommend Farberware cookware, especially this saucepan which is an essential you need in your kitchen.
