Purchased to replace the similar Cuisinart pot that had a steamer insert but the pot was accidentally ruined. This pot is the same size and the old Cuisinart steamer fits well except the steamer does rest upon the handle rivets but close enough to do the job. Excellent, quality construction. Very happy with the purchase.
