This pot is terrible. The first one I received had a gap in the bottom where the seam is. Water collected there and bubbled out every time I used it. Customer service was pleasant to deal with and sent me a replacement. However, the new one has the same issue, just not quite as bad as the first. This is not at all what I would expect from a reputable brand and comparatively expensive pot. The handle is also horrible and is not at all comfortable to use. I would never purchase this again.

I had to buy this to replace my most-used 3 qt. S/S Cuisinart saucepan. I immediately noticed that the new pan is lighter weight & it seems much of the weight is the handle. .

Adequate. Bad handle design. Gets VERY hot because the handle isnt hollow. Older models were better and safer to handle. It isnt worth sending back, but disappointing,
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An excellent pan that holds heat well and warms evenly. I bought it for an induction cooktop (and it works well there), again heating evenly. I love the handle; the lid (as the instructions say) will hold very tightly if left on cooling food, so I make sure to crack it a bit and all is well.

Great pot. Lid handle gets a little hot, though. Like the measurements inside the pot

I recently bought an induction range and was looking for a 3 quart saucepan. I was in a thrift store on found a Cuisinart model #7193-20. I had forgotten my magnet but searched and found this page which said it was induction capable. Imagine my surprise when I got home and found it was not magnetic and will not work on my range
To have the same model in both induction and non induction is just dumb
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re sorry for the confusion regarding the 7193-20 saucepan and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Some model numbers can vary by production run, and induction compatibility depends on a magnetic stainless-steel base, which can be quickly confirmed with a magnet test. We understand how frustrating this experience must have been and would be happy to review the specific piece with you to clarify compatibility.
