I've always seen these electric knives in movies, but never had one myself. When I received this one from Proctor Silex, it made me sad I hadn't had one of them until now! It's great for a number of kitchen uses, particularly meats. This knife features stainless steel reciprocating blades, a comfortable grip, easy buttons, and its super easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this electric knife. It is small so it won't take up too much space and very easy to use. You just combine the blades together, snap it into the body and plug it in! It cuts very nicely and evenly if you're not scared of using it. The blades are very very sharp so be careful when washing them. A cloth is needed to clean if the food you're cutting is greasy!

Super thin cuts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always enjoyed the sharpest knives in the kitchen, they make work effortless and enjoyable. This is my first go around with an electric knife, which I conveniently received right before thanksgiving. I will never attempt to cut up poultry again with anything but an electric knife. The blades are very sharp, the motor is strong enough to cut through any part of the bird, however the manual does say to avoid bone. The blades will only engage when the trigger is depressed, which is a very smart safety mechanism as this knife would almost certainly cut deep with a slight misstep. The blades eject easily and are very easy to clean. They are stainless steel, which I’m sure they would do fine in the dishwasher but I always chose to hand wash my knives. The cord is of ample length to avoid the sense of being tethered to the wall. In summary, I love this knife and am very eager to try it out on other cuts of meat. This knife will please even the most advanced chefs when it comes to the ability to cut thin even slices in the blink of an eye.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Proctor Silex Electric Knife is an overall good cutting knife. Little ease of use with the sharp blades. The blades come with a protective sleeve which is good. It does seem a little big for the grip of my hands, but I do have somewhat smaller hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very handy! We used it this past thanksgiving to cut our turducken and it was soooo much easier to use than a traditional knife! Very easy to clean, intuitive to operate, and small enough to store anywhere. I don’t see how anyone can go wrong getting one of these.
