I have it since September last year and I am very happy with it. I would definitely recommend this product. Just waiting for my Windows 10 upgrade.

Take a Giant Leap

I like my Icon. But give me something to love. Let's take a real big step Microsoft. It's truly possible and success will follow.
1. Give us a battery. Not a little bigger battery, a lot bigger battery. Something we'd be almost tempted to jump a car with, 3000-3200mAh. Don't mess around, give us a big battery.
2. Love the great cameras. Keep them coming and improving them.
3. Make Chrome available. It's loved my so many, make it available on my Windows phone. It will be a selling feature.
4. Make FaceTime available. A friend recently moved from his Windows phone to iPhone in order to FaceTime with his family. Give his family and those like them a reason to do the reverse.
5. The best travel app is BlackBerry Travel (WorldMate) with "Trip Catch". The full version of WorldMate isn't even available on Windows 8.1 and Trip Catch is only available in the BlackBerry Travel branded release. Get the enhanced WorldMate and get them to add Trip Catch and you will have the best there is. Especially if they incorporate live tiles.
6. A 5" screen is fine and fits almost comfortably in my shirt pocket. Release a larger one if you want the pocket video customers but don't abandon the shirt pocket business users.
7. Add a programmable message light. Not a lighthouse beacon but a small message light that one can see from the top, front and back of the device. And allow it to be disabled by time, message source and other conditions.
8. Put some memory in it. Like the battery, take a big step here. Physically make it one size fits all for economy of scale. Enable different configurations with a software key so a user can start small and add more when needed.
9. Integrate it more closely with the Windows desktop and Server. Nothing should have a better Integration with the world's leading OS than a Windows phone. And tout that integration, a lot!
10. Add Google Nav or give us better Bing Maps. Bing has the wrong name on the street where I live in spite of my following the process for getting it corrected. That's just the most annoying error among many that I encounter. Either improve the native maps or incorporate better ones.
That's it, except for keep the apps coming. Thanks for a really good phone. I look forward to a really great one.

Verizon Wireless seems to have dropped the phones and support for them.

Since Verizon does not offer an OS upgrade to Windows 8.1 the phone is now obsolete and a potential personal security risk. If an upgrade to Windows 8.1 is offered that would change my opinion but as it stands now I am stuck with a dud in a two year contract.

Still the Best Phone I've Had In Years

i've had this phone for a little over 7 months and it still worked like a dream. I Always liked windows phone and I owned 3 different windows phones before getting the Icon. I love the design and The 5 inch AMOLED/OLED Full HD Display. The 20 megapixel camera is really good too. Even though its not as amazing as the 1020. Only thing i miss is Glance Screen And Double tap. Other then that, This is a must buy. Still better then Iphones in my opinion.

I've really enjoyed this phone so far. It is however a real disappointment that this phone does not support Nokia Glance. Glance is by far one of the biggest features that separates us from the competition.
