I love it

I say weakness
1 hot, too easy
2, the battery too fast
3, a system bug, mail does not display
4, shops often errors
5, purchase application system is not perfect, obviously has purchased, but cannot download
6, the system is too closed, resulting in some applications can't monitor phone status
7, Office is too old, a lot of dysfunction, encrypted documents cannot be edited, you cannot encrypt document, OneNote cannot sync and edit encrypted diary

Great Third-Party Alternative

From very early on I had a never been able to develop a taste for the Apple ecosystem (iTunes, Mac OSx, iOS, etc.). I had a Zune, Windows Laptops and desktops, and have heavily used the productivity suite. Since Windows wasn't a smartphone contender until late in the game, I was forced to use an Android phone for 5 years until my contract was finally up. The Icon has been my first Windows Phone.
First, I need to acknowledge that the Android OS is far superior to any other mobile OS to providing users complete control over every aspect of their phone. So switching to a Windows Phone meant I lost some of that ability. Second, it's pretty well known that that Windows Phone doesn't have a lot of apps compared to the other platforms (although Web Apps provide a decent alternative#. However, the apps that are available are not so excellent in terms of support. Some features not available that are found on the same app on iOS/Android. Although, I am not a power user and don't need a quintillion apps, I find that WP does offer the apps I really do need.
PROs about the Icon:
*The buffed-out glass screen. Sliding your finger on that screen is like hand gliding in the Grand Caymans--an experience that is world-class!! The only resistance you feel is the grooves on your fingerprint.
*The killer camera. My photos are truly the envy of my friends. My pictures are heads and shoulders better than all of my friends.
*True Black. The bezel seems to flow right into the screen. The colors are spot on and a real joy to look at.

CON's: #where do I begin#
*This product is not supported by Verizon. I bought it on contract and within 2 months it was retired! As of November, I still haven't received Cyan #it was released 10 months ago). I was so sick of it, I installed the Developer Preview in order to get so essential features. Very disappointing.
*This phone is difficult to handle. I have rather large hands, but still it's very difficult to reach the entire screen, it has pointed edges which make it hard to hold and since you have to hold it higher up, it cramps my hand very quickly 5-10 minutes! OUCH! A deal-breaker if I wasn't under contract. Not to mention it sticks into your leg when you sit with it in your front pocket.
*Not so great sound. The speaker is small, rear-facing, rather weak and sounds pretty bad. The HTC One M8's stereo speakers should be industry standard for all smartphones. I wished the Icon had better sound.

I could divulge into the strengths and weakness of Windows Phone, but am willing to overlook them for just a consistent experience across all my digital life. I really want to love this phone, and wish I can, but there are a few more things to dislike than to like about it.

good phone but lack some important features

This is overall a very good phone but I don't understand why it lacks a memory card slot. It just spoils the fun of otherwise an excellent device. Moreover, it lacks the glance screen feature which is very useful, something that was even present in my Lumia 820 but is missing in this phone. I wish the next update of this will include the above features on top of giving a slightly bigger screen and a metallic finish

Best device with little defect

Best phone on the market for it`s a Windows Phone, not some stupid Android or iPhone. But still with little defects. I bought a Lumia930 to replace my Lumia1020 (only because Lumia930 has an appearance more like Surface）. I love this phone, but the power button and volume button are not fitted well. and after the ROM which MS claim to fix the red screen problem, it`s still a red screen. Also, it`s CPU constantly overheat the lower right corner of the phone

can be better

I found that my 930 only vibrate once when there's incoming call. I always miss the call easily. 930 has a good camera and I fully understand that each photo taken has included two files (one bigger better quality, one smaller lower quality). However when I try to share the nice photo with friends who are using LG G3 and iPhone, I can only attached the small file by email. I have no way to send out the best quality file to my friend via my 930 to show 930 can take good photo to my friends. This is where I found frustrated.

Well, I'm european , so i have a lumia 930. I'm really satisfied with it. The only problem for me, that the back of the phone gets really hot easily. It's so embarassing.

I enjoy this phone very much. Good camera, high build design, and ease of use of windows phone. The only downside is that it is a bit bulky.
