wifi issues are a huge pain

I have to reboot the phone many times as my phone wifi lies about the connection status. It says it is connected but I cannot access anything after reboot everything works fine for awhile.

Great phone. Lack of not only apps but app support lowers stars

Like the phone. Love the OS, however useful apps are few and support for those apps in almost nil in most cases.
Not sure id its Microsoft or Verizon but the Cyan update (or denim if its coming) is taking forever.
Phones wifi is horrible however the cyan update might fix it. I can have my work iPhone sitting right next to this phone and the iPhone will have full wifi and the icon will have one.

my first Verizon phone

I got this phone when switching to Verizon. It was the best available windows phone on Verizon.
The camera would be second best out of all the windows phones I've owned. The screen is definitely the best being 1080p.
If I could I'd say a phone with the slimness of the 925, the size of the 1520, the camera of the 1020 with the screen of the icon would be the near perfect windows phone for me.

Easy switch

I'll admit it, I was nervous switching from android. Sure, I had a Zune HD previously and was confident enough with the modern design language. But what about apps? What about service? I had come to rely heavily on google! My book marks were on chrome, and my documents on google drive!
I was pleased to find the switch very easy! The modern design language was all I hoped for, and I found the app selection satisfying. I even found apps to fill some gaps, including Chrysync which gave me access to my Chrome bookmarks. I also found OneDrive superior to google drive.
I very highly recommend the Lumia Icon in particular, and the Windows Phone platform in general.

I recommend this phone for people who enjoy Microsoft products. I want my UPDATE FOR Windows 8.1, from Verizon and MICROSOFT. WHEN DO WE GET IT?

The reason I can't recommend the phone is because Verizon does a such a lousy job of supporting any Windows phone. I bought it expecting an easy, quick upgrade to Cyan as it was the flagship phone for the platform. The phone was dropped for new sales WAY before it's time and still no upgrade... My recommendations, wait for a new flagship on ATT, and skip anything Verizon has to offer. Maybe ATT will get the 930 or a new 1330 or 1530 or 1030, even the 830 would be better than an Icon or 928 with limited support from Verizon

I have used all of the Windows Phones since the NL 900 and this is the best yet! Solid battery life and amazing video recording. I go to concerts as much as possible and this by far records the best video. The 4 noise cancelling microphones record premium sound even at concerts with deep bass. The optical image stabilization delivers high quality HD video even while moving or moved at the show. The screen is super bright with HD OLED screens. The phone is bigger but frames perfectly for the Windows Phone 8 Live Tiles OS. Check it out!!
