Nice crafted phone. Amazing camera and display. Unbelievable sound and video recorder. Mediocre battery life especially while browsing. Needs more software flexibility. Missing applications.

Excellent but for one thing...

I love this phone. I already have windows 8.1 on my computer, so using this phone was a breeze. I love the interface. I love the larger screen size. I am the last to switch to a smartphone, yes, this is my first smart phone :) and I found the Icon very easy to use. I especially love the Nokia Pro camera. My only complaint is that there are very few cases available for it, and they are all super ugly, solid black, red, white, or blue. And some kind of "flip case" -- who wants to go back to a flip? I have a pretty white Icon, and I don't want an ugly case. It's ridiculous that they haven't made nice cases for this awesome phone! So if getting a pretty case is important, don't get this phone. If you can live without a pretty case or any case at all, then I highly recommend the Icon.

I don't miss my iPhone

I switched to Windows Phone after years as a loyal iPhone user. I chose the Icon over the snazzier and newer HTC M8 even though I knew the Icon had the older operating system - no Cortana, no notification center, etc. I like the look and the feel of the Icon and it is worth waiting for Microsoft and Verizon to update the Icon to Cyan.
My only regret is that I understand Verizon has dropped the Icon from its lineup. But I remain confident that there will be a better model when it comes time to renew my contract in two years.

All around beautiful phone

This was the flagship Windows Phone at the time of its release and on Verizon. It's still a great device and I show it off every chance I get.

Love my Lumia Icon

Windows Phone 8.1 is the easiest phone operating system to use. I like the fact you can customize your tiles and now group them in folders. The whole Microsoft ecosystem is smooth. With #OneDrive, #Office365, #XboxOne and #Windows8.1 working seamlessly. Keep up the good work Microsoft!
