All these features, but can't play simple flash games are watch flash from Disney Channel, a real innovative product.

The ICON Marks The Maturity Of Windows Phone

An amazing piece of technology through and through. I've never gone so quickly from not knowing about a device's existence to having it become such an integral part of my life.
Best Features:
-Metro is, as always, the absolutely amazing tablet and devices OS that it was always designed to be. No matter its reputation on desktop, it remains the fastest, most intuitive, least cluttered operating system in mobile space - faster and cleaner than both Android and iPhone (and I've used all three), and easier to make one's own. This is the only phone I've used that feels like it enables me to compute immediately and intuitively instead of trying just to keep up!
-In particular, the calendar is so much cleaner and faster than any other smartphone calendar. On other phones I used the scheduling only for reminders, and it never felt like a day planner I actually wanted to use. This calendar makes me wish my schedule was fuller!
-The camera quality is absolutely, ridiculously good - good enough for home or even independent cinema (if you have a suitable postprocessor application) - and the in-place Nokia effects app is eminently capable!
-Nokia Music is a fantastic music player; even better than Android's player, and far better than iTunes - no clumsy imports, and it doesn't lock in your choice of desktop music player! Freedom at last!
-Touchscreen responsiveness is the best of any device I've used. No more endless jabbing around a given button or letter and backspacing!
-The display quality is staggering and really turns the device into a portable television in bed; and the battery is long enough to get through hours of sustained use.
-Produces very little heat even under continuous use! It's a remarkable feat of engineering to have this much mobile processing power stay cool after watching 1 hour or more of HD video, even when resting on a piece of cloth

Drawbacks:
-The Windows App Store just isn't as full-featured as the other app stores yet. In particular, the depth of multimedia recording and portable studio apps is not quite there yet; the exceptional video quality makes me hunger for the development of such apps in coming years!
-The device is so responsive that very occasionally the phone may register a touch from the back of the phone as a "press" on the search button - this has never caused me a serious problem to date, however, and the increased forward-screen responsiveness is well worth it.
-Occasionally the screen will redraw itself twice; or Netflix will go to a black screen when ending an episode instead of the menu. (Back button fixes this issue)
-Do I have to think of any other drawbacks? Seriously, I can't think of any. I can't marry it. That's a drawback.

Great phone, great OS

I've been using a Windows Phone for well over a year - liked the phone, loved the operating system. I jumped on the Lumina Icon when I had the chance to upgrade. It's even faster, has higher screen resolution, and more memory than my former WP.
Best of all: Everything (and I do mean everything) gets transferred from one Windows Phone to another. It was nearly like I hadn't switched phone manufacturers at all.
I joined the Developers Preview program and I've been using 8.1 for months now. What an awesome upgrade for Windows Phone 8! I love Cortana, the interface is so intuitive, so many nice touches that make the phone a pleasure to use.
The Icon has such a great screen - awesome in full daylight - fantastic for video. Sounds great, and the camera is fantastic! Everything you need in a really great package.

I love this phone it has actually made a lot of things easier for me . only thing is that they are holding its full potential back by not releasing its 8.1 update so when that comes out it will recieve a 5 out of 5

This phone is awesome, all you have to is install windows phone 8.1 rev. Pre- view to get a even better experience. The speaker is rear mounted but it sounds amazing and it is really loud. Also has other great features like NFC witch is one of my favorites. But the best feature is the snapdragon 800 2.2ghz CPU and WIRELESS CHARGING!!! I never even knew of such a thing. lol, but that's not why you read reviews. You read reviews because you want to know what it is like to use it on a day to day basis. Well it fantastic! I didn't even miss some of the apps on my old 4s because I forgot about them! lol but also the screen wont turn on when you get a notification until the proximity sensor doesn't sense your pocket! Then there is the keyboard, it is a little big but it doesn't take a lot of time to a just to it. The stock camera app is fine with a burst mode but I personally think that the Nokia pro cam is better, and with that awesome 20mp camera you can take it all the glory of that photo on the 1080p screen and the 441ppi! Then if you want a cool personalized lockscreen (windowsphone 8.1 only) you can get the live lockscreen app with 6 different themes to choose from. Thanks for reading this review! I moved to a Windows phone from an iPhone, and now cannot fathom how I ever lived without it. My first Windows phone was the HTC 8X, and now I have the Nokia Icon. The Icon is a vastly superior device. the battery life is outstanding, and the Nokia suite of apps is an absolute game changer for me.
The only thing I can say negatively about my Icon is that Verizon refuses to release the Cyan firmware update (which probably means I won't get the Denim firmware either).

Having switched from an iPhone 4s to the Lumia Icon, I can say it was quite a change. After getting use to the interface, the phone became what I always wanted in a smartphone. Fast, easy to use and productive!

1)The aluminum framed is good but the shaped not comfortable hold longer in hand, 2) processor position is heating at the back when hold it, 3) amoled screen no work perfectly turn between purple tint & green at low light conditions. 4) hopefully support glance screen on flagship lumia devices.
