Great Phone but no Cortana or SWYPE

Everything is great with this phone but Verizon will not push windows 8.1. Very frustrating not having the features of the other 8.1 enabled phones

Loved my Nokia 928 and my wife got excited about WP8.1 and Cortana and picked up an Icon when it first came out. The fact that 8.1 and CYAN remain (possible permanently) is highly disappointing and to me unacceptable. Verizon is difficult, but it appears from recent events that Microsoft may have been unaware of what testing requirements were expected by Verizon. great phone . . . Very poor vendor support. Makes me concerned about WHAT will happen with Windows 10. Microsoft needs a better customer focused ground game - those clients who were willing to take on as early adapters and support WP deserve a better outcome than being left behind and in the dark, left to become poor word of mouth ambassadors for the platform.

Great features, poor WIFI

I move 20' away from my WIFI router into another room and I have no WIFI on the ICON. ALL my other devices including my old HTC 8X have great WIFI no matter where I am in my house. The phone has all updates. I guess I'll be returning the phone. Unfortunatly I found out after the purchase this is a common problem.

don't get this phone if you depend on wi fi for your internet.

Wi fi stopped working after 10 days of ownership. Tried troubleshooting with no success.

Good camera, excellent sound and HD graphic easy to use but size is almost Fablet size and that's a shame for such a cool looking windows phone

No OS updates, No Google apps, No free Voicemail App

They sold us this phone as a "Cyan-ready phone" the we got skipped when it came to all updates after Lumia Black.
Not only are there no Google Apps (except Google search), there's also no good alternatives.
They make you pay for the Voicemail App that is included in the iPhone.

Nokia Lumia Icon = Worst Phone I've Ever Owned

I got the Nokia Icon in August of 2014 because I thought it had such cool features such as Cortana. But once I purchased it I quickly learned that it didn't have Cortana, all the apps are old versions, and most the time when I'm doing something, it exits out. Thinking that I would eventually get Cortana, it has been 5 months and I still don't have Cortana, none of the apps are up to date. Probably worst choice ever made when I decided to get this phone.
