Not for casual coffee drinkers

The description for this mentions a "a subtle hint of smokiness." The part of that I don't agree with is the "subtle" part. To me, it's very smoky and leaves a bitter after taste. I'm sure some who like a very robust coffee taste will like this, but it was way too bitter for me.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Flavor, Unpleasant Aftertaste

I bought Barista Italian Roast for my husband. He loves the dark roast. He says it has a great flavor. I tried it also and I totally agree! It is dark, rich and has a great flavor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was looking for something more like an "espresso" this was overly bitter for me ... very disappointed i wont say the coffee itself is bad its just my own personal taste preference

I was excited about this line of Barista coffees but I really didn't care for the Italian Roast. Too bitter, too much acid, and too strong for me.

WAY to strong for me but some of my friends like STRONG coffe and said it was OK...Very bitter....not to bad when sweetened a bit but still an acidy taste...
