Thump the cup

Like other reviewers, I noticed a good portion of the mix in the bottom of the cup after brewing. What happens is the powder settles and gets packed in the cup between packaging and use. Before brewing, thump the k-cup a couple times until you hear the powder is loose, then brew it... comes out much better!
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma
Cons: A Little Thin But Okay

I can't drink it, but the kids like it

Cafe Escapes insists on using coconut oil in all their products. Unfortunately that means people like me with a coconut allergy can't drink them. However, my kids like the Dark Chocolate Cocoa better than the Milk Chocolate Cocoa as it's not as watery. The Keurig 2.0 is easy for them to use and with the "Other" setting it doesn't clog up the machine like the hot cocoa k-cups did in my Keurig Platinum Brewer. The hot cocoa k-cups will clog up the non-2.0 brewers, so be sure to run a small cup of plain hot water through your machine to clean it out after a few hot cocoa cups. When it comes down to it, I'd rather just make my own hot cocoa from scratch. Kids like it better, too.

Cons: Clogs The Regular Brewers, Not Enough Flavor

I crave this Dark Chocolate drink Every day. It's rich and smooth flavor is a good way to start the day, but especially to end it - accompanied by the warmth of a fireplace! We all love the rich flavor better than the Swiss Miss which is a lighter flavor of chocolate. It's not as 'dark chocolate' of a flavor I thought it would be, which is good b/c I don't normally like dark chocolate.
Pros: More Chocolate Flavor, Richer Than Swiss Miss
Cons: None I can think of

My husband wanted to try the Escapes Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa. He is so glad he did. He loves the darker hot cocoa.
