I bought these for our baby snd as soon as I unwrapped the plastic, I saw that they were labeled as meeting formaldehyde safety standards. Ugh! There shouldn't be ANY formaldehyde! It's such a disappointment. The size was perfect for our six month olds but obviously we won't let any of our kids use toys made in China with toxic chemicals.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
