The Brother J5910DW is an excellent printer for both text & photo printing. I use it wireless for both our desktop & laptop computers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Constantly experience paper jam with less expensive copy paper. Very frustrating.

Oh - Brother MFC - J5910DW

Replaced an older Brother MFC printer with this one. This is the third one I've owned over the past 10 years. I like the product and am very comfortable with it.
The first two printers were the same model but this last one is a different model.
I changed models, after the last one stopped working, so I would have 'airprint' capabilities. The only real comments to make, other than I am very pleased with this printer, is that I wasn't expecting it to be much larger than the last two and the paper tray is significantly different. You can't see how much paper is in the tray.

Very Disappointed

We have 2 Brother printers for our offices. The MFC-6490CW is a great printer. That is why we purchased a 2nd Brother printer (the MFC-J5910DW). We are very disappointed in the MFC-J5910DW..... it is very slow and the colored prints are terrible even in enhanced (Tru-to-Life) mode. I'm sure we will replace this new Brother printer just as soon as possible. I wish we would have purchased a used MFC-6490CW instead.

Christmas letters

I have been having the most miserable time ever trying to print Christmas letters. First from the computer file--Christmas letter paper required a slip sheet in order to print. Many times paper jammed (rear). I have become an expert at unjamming the printer. Then tried to use the copy function and regular paper. Not much better. Happy New Year.
