And the Skyrocket's red glare...

I have owned several other Samsung smartphones and the Skyrocket is the best by far. Due to the US Galaxy S III only being dual core because of the quad core processor's incompatibility with LTE, my opinion probably won't change. The 4.5" display is big and the Super AMOLED renders the usual oversaturated colors. The dual core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor is quick, especially during web browsing and using applications. The 8mp camera with LED flash takes very good pictures. TouchWhiz has been significantly improved and feels more fluid. The update to Ice Cream Sandwich only enhanced the overall speed as well as adding some nice aesthetic touches, such as thinner status bars when downloading apps or other media, and a slightly different look to some icons and widgets.
Pros: Bright display, fast, feels like a high end device
I would recommend this to a friend!

I Love My Skyrocket

I was eyballing this device for about 2 to 4 months before i actually purchased it. Read as much info as I could find about how it functions and ways to personalise it (root) so I could really make it my own and enjoy my device once i got it. Really wish samsung would use some metallic framing on their phones, I personally believe it would add to the overall value; a little extra weight wouldn't be so bad either. I'll be holding on to this one for a while, or until Sammy blows my mind with something else, which ever comes first.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: battery life inadequate with 4g
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use, great features, especially fantastic display.
Bought the phone going by its features & look. However, the phone has got overheating problem. After just 8-10 mins on call, the phone gets very hot - you can't even touch the phone. Need to charge the phone everyday as the battery life is not more than 18 hours. On top of it, it doesn't have Gorilla glass, got 2 big cracks on the screen - luckily the phone is still working with those cracks. Also, once the phone gets crack, samsung doesn't cover the phone under warranty - so they(Samsung Repair) will not resolve the over heating problem under free warranty, unless you pay them :(
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, lcd gets damaged soon, over heating, battery life miserable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone has been awesome. No complaints except for the long wait to get ICS (which isn't really Samsung's fault).
