Other than a few things its a great phone and I'm extremely happy with it.
The things that drive me nuts is the screen time out when I'm on a phone call. My screen darkens shortly after I make my call and I have to hit the power button to see it and to enter a phone extension when needed.
My last phone had an option that as long as I had power to it I had the option to never have my screen time out.
I don't know why they wont allow me to delete some of the apps I will never use.
I also wish i had the option to exchange out the widgets at the bottom. It seems It will not allow me to exchange the regular email with my gmail widget and will not allow me to exchange the browser widget with my Dolphin HD browser widget.

We are a Samsung family (tv for years and now phones). After getting wise and switching from the fruity phone, I am in love. I had the Note when it first came out, switched it over to my boyfriend when we added him on my plan and got the Skyrocket. Couldn't be happier!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Its a good fone, but I think it misses some basic features that are available in other smart fone like a LED message indicator!

Switched out an iPhone 4S for this phone and I wouldn't have it any other way. Recommended by my brother-in-law and friends and quite frankly this phone is awesome. I'll be sticking with Samsung from here on out. The S3 is out now and I'm just waiting for my upgrade so I can get that on my list too!

It's fast...screen is great...and the apps are great for downloading video. The text to speech may not be Siri but it is useful and works and using it with the computer is not complicated ...no itunes...

Except for some buggy software and odd quirks this would be an excellent unit; although the fault is more OS than Hdwe. For me the biggest issue is the scratchy sound from the speakerphone, and the fact that even on the lowest volume setting, it's still too loud.
Pros: screen size and sharpness, competitive price/good value
Cons: speakerphone quality
