I've always been a Samsung fan. Since I first bought my girlfriend a flip phone from AT&T. I've evolved from a generic device user to an absolute Samsung junky. I find myself scouring the web looking for the latest greatest mobile phone from Samsung. WHERE IS THE GALAXY SIII already?!?!?!?!?!?! The Skyrocket hasn't disappointed. I absolutely love it. I went from the Infuse which was handed down, and this is a step up from the awesome Infuse which was a step up from the then mindblowing Captivate. The Skyrocket is awesome, and highly under rated.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: would like a 4.8-5.0" screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I got the Skyrocket, it was the most snappy android phone in the market. It was the first android phone I had seen that had a satisfyingly snappy response.
I would have preferred it to keep the Exynos processor, but the LTE chip that the Snapdragon versions come with definitely make up for it.
It does drain battery pretty quickly, and my screen does have visible lines when brightness is decreased. The screen thing becomes a non-issue as you use the phone.
Overall a great phone. I do not regret buying this phone.
Pros: thin, fast data
Cons: somewhat short battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Previous Captivate owner, upgraded to Skyrocket. It's like moving from a Chevette to a Cadillac. GPS locks in under 3 sec, inside, sees 20, uses 10. Are you kidding me????? Games just move, no lag. Like the larger screen. Sammy AMOLED is a awesome display. The 1.5 dual core processor just screams speed. Absolutely, positively, the best phone ever.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had it 5 days and the back camera just keeps throwing up a camera failed, I have cleared data and restart it and it will work for a little bit then say camera failed again. this is the reason i bought this phone was to be able to use the camera.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: doesn't work

This was a great first android phone! It is very cool looking and extremely lightweight! The only con is that the battery does not last the whole day, but who cares it is a great phone!

I've had the Skyrocket only a couple weeks so far and love it. Switched from an iPhone 4 which is a great phone but after the joke which is the 4s I was willing to try something else. My friend strongly recommended this the Galaxy SII Skyrocket and I have not been disappointed.
It's lightning fast especially on LTE. The UI is incredibly smooth and I should be able to get ICS on it soon. The 8mp camera takes phenomenal photos and even the videos are crystal clear.
The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 in design is because of the plastic battery cover. I used a GS Captivate for a few weeks before i bought this and loved the metal back. Would have liked something like that on this. But all in all still a very well designed phone.
Bottom line: Great phone, fast, stable, etc. Would definitely recommend this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, camer
