The sm-t110 galaxy tab 3 lite is a good functioning tablet but it isn't as good as the tab 3 in several respects. Those being no front camera, no firmware suport/future upgrades, and the screen resolution/color saturation isn't up to par. I understand that this is a lite version of the tab 3 but it could be equal to it and just strip down the hardware a bit. Brand new when they both came out the miniscule price difference didn't warrant the tab 3 lite to be such comparative junk.
Now that being said.
I recently got the Galaxy Note 4 and with a phone that big and a 128Gb memory card who needs a tablet too so I let my daughter use my tablet. Turns out this is the perfect tablet for a fifth grader to use who loves to read, watch movies and Netflix and do her Web browsing and YouTube video watching. I complained earlier about the screen but it works for mobile video watching. I have personally marathoned all six star wars movies on this device. I have directors cuts and you can watch two of the movies before needing to recharge. It isn't cinema quality but if I want that I won't be watching on a 7 inch tablet. All around its a good device and overall I'd give it 3 or 4 stars. 4 or 5 if it had a front camera.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no front camera, no firmware support/future upgrades
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is the tablet i would love to own.My neice and cousin each own one and they are constantly on it .My daughter who is only two years old asks me wheres mine.As i am a single parent its kinda hard for me to purchase one .So overall it would teally put a smile on her face if she was to receive one in to her hands .For her age she really knows her way around the tablet.
For those of us who are 60+, the 7 inch screen is too small. Also, the 2mb camera stinks. And, the Android 4.2 is getting old. The bottom line is an 8 inch, whereas a 10 inch is much better, but heavier to hold.
